Romney must have thought they asked him about China’s economy.

They will blame the oil companies, not Obama.

Nothing is Obama's fault. He's going to blame everyone else on everything.

Poor Obama

The economic distress and anxiety about the future felt by MILLIONS is and always will be the best argument against any incumbent, not to mention the incumbent named Obama, who promised “results” and only managed to get the groundwork for his future Utopia barely started, while dismantling everything he could to soften the process of “re-making America”.
That such an unaccomplished, untested punk and twit should have been allowed to do this in only to our everlasting shame,
and it’s up to US, collectively, and not some present or future historians offering up feel-good spin, to come to grips with how and why a majority of us voted to let him in.
NOBODY mentions the most obvious thing about Obama, which is that he and the Dem Party which chose him as their figurehead, have done ALL their policy, domestic and foreign
tied to an Agenda which has it sights set on some Utopia that may transpire 50 or 100 years from now, has NO connection with real, day-to-day life as experienced by Americans or virtually anyone else in the world we live in.
Their has not been a single day in office in which ANY of their policy decisions have been guided by ANYTHING other than the world they WANT, rather than the practical matters of the world we actually live in.
This cold disconnect is what CAN’T change, they are consumed by their Agenda which
is why growing numbers of Americans (including those who voted for him with stars in their eyes), have, deep-down , signed off on this guy emotionally for now and forever. If Obama’s surrogates and the MSM have the stupidity to continue vilifying Gingrich, it will only make support for him stronger-—this trend we see developing Gingrich’s ascendancy, will not go away, and will not be reversed on its way to the Election.

Yet another reason not to vote for Romney. The economy is unfortunately married to the government and it’s struggling under a mountain of debt.

I believe Obama’s chances of reelection are inversely proportional to the price of a gallon of gas in the months leading up to election day.

[Mittbot?]

I don't like any of them. I don't trust any of them. But I'll vote for the devil if that's whose running against Obama in November.

Hey, Mittiot - why don’t you just tell people to vote for 0bama? You’re practically doing that anyway. Get out. Stop wasting the Republican Party’s time wrt their presidential candidate process.

Well I don’t think there is any doubt the economy is finding it’s footing. You can’t argue growth. However, why would you leave it at that? It can certainly be argued that Obama’s spending did very little to prop the economy. The economy is getting better in spite of Obama. Certainity creates growth and the fact that Obama can’t get anything done because of the House is certainity the fact that even if Obama wins the house and senate appear to be Republican owned come the end of the year creates certainity. My arugements would be that Obama did things that prolonged the recession and put us in massive debt for nothing. The Affordable Health Care Act created new burdens on business that reduced hiring and has lessened the extent of the recovery.

Waving your hand and saying things aren’t getting better when they are is not a winning arguement. I’m in banking so from my vantage point you can’t argue things are getting worse, you could debate how good things are getting, but I defintely see things improving.

Every single debate answer: “I agree with President Obama, but...”

Where I have I heard this before? Oh yeah! It was when Romney "debated" Ted Kennedy in 1994. "I agree with Senator Kennedy, but..."

For laughs (or tears) google 'Romney Kennedy debate' and watch in astonishment. Keep a barf bag handy.

Romney is running for the Republican nomination as if he’s trying to win Massachusetts. It’s bizarre. Gingrich is running as if he’s trying to win Texas. I’ll take Gingrich’s approach every time.

Obama and liberals figured that the US economy would recover no matter what they did. It always has. In the meantime they could “fundamentally transform” America into a centrally planned welfare state where only the ruling elite could be trusted with dangerous things like money, guns, cigarettes, fireworks and freedom. Americans would still stay afloat.

He and his advisors don’t understand that even Michael Phelps and Aquaman would drown with a 500 ton anvil like Big Gubmint chained to their neck.

Who is under the rock behind the rock that is pushing for Mittens to somehow even be in the polls? Wow.....there are some severely misguided people in this voting public. So very sad. I truly hope they will wake-up soon.......

ROMNEY: "Well, of course it’s getting better."

McCain: "Obama is a decent person and you don't need to be scared of him being President".

“That’s just completely unacceptable for anyone with half a brain.”

One can only wonder: what is wrong with Romney. Clearly he’s not stupid, he may not be a genius, but he’s not a moron either.

It’s all of a piece with him being flummoxed at being challenged to release his tax returns. Doesn’t he know that SOP for pres candidates these days....since his own father started it?

I mean come on, you want the job where anything can happen at any time and you’re flustered when you’re asked to show your extremely rich guy tax returns?

The author of this piece may be a lib, but his point is well taken.

That’s pretty much Mitt’s line: vote for me anyway (it’s my turn).

“In all, our spending power is in a deficit. But neither of us are represented in the unemployment numbers.”

Here in NJ hubby and I are in exactly the same boat. As are our co-workers.
