Excellent post that covers why WE are supporting Newt, and Free Republic. We already contributed, and are watching the numbers if we are needed to contribute more.

This IS the most important election cycle in our lifetimes, and we ain’t no Spring Chickens. ;)

I am very happy to see that Newt won--and won big--in South Carolina tonight.

I had thought that it might be a squeaker. But it was anything but that.

Now the question is whether this can reverse Mitt Romney's big lead in Florida (which, I believe, is about 18 percentage points), prior to the primary date of January 31. (Note: It is my understanding that over half of all votes that are likely to be cast in the Florida primary have already been cast, due to absentee voting, which is ubiquitous in the state. So Newt's momentum, coming off South Carolina, will not be of any consequence among those who have already cast their votes.)

72% preferred a conservative.

Thanks....shame. I used to find him smart and interesting, and pretty unique. Though I never likes his strict “3 one-hour-block” thing, changing topics even if they were on something good.

But I do remember even years ago when I listened to him, that he used to say he hated the term “RINO.”

Guess I’m glad I don’t hear it any longer. I listen to Andrew Wilkow and Mark Levin on Patriot, and sometimes Rusty Humphries.

Securing two early votes here in his favor in FLa. for him on Monday, myself and another.

While there are certainly tings I don’t like, he’s a scrapper, and that I do like.

I was already in. I think we need a Money Bomb thread for Newt. mitten$ is about to blow a lot of cash in FL attacking Newt. I don’t know how Newt can counter that without our help.
