“BTW, Sarah Palin just spent 10 minutes on Hannity taking up for Perry on this, trying to help him out by reframing the question to one of ethics. Interesting to watch. Twice, she said something like, “I think what Rick Perry is saying is...” (paraphrasing)”
I saw that, too, and was proud of her for supporting Perry.
As i watched this, it hit me as seeming a little odd -- a little uncharacteristic of her. Especially since she's supposedly ticked at Perry for running in the 1st place "when he said he wouldn't." Then it hit me. I wonder if she heard the rumors about a Newt/Santorum ticket, so she's playing the odds. lol. She already got Todd to back Newt, so maybe she's covering all the bases. ;)
Yeah, me too.
She knows that Perry has always been a strong and vocal supporter of The Tea Party and practices what the Tea Party preaches !
How early do they name VP picks, anyway? I can’t remember how common it is for a candidate to go ahead and name someone this early. It would be Perry’s only hope, at this point, most likely, and maybe Rick S, too. Maybe THAT’S how this 3-way thing should be settled... “Show us who your VP pick is and then we’ll get behind you.”
Perry has said that he’s not interested in VP...he has a better job now as Governor of Texas.
Yeah, actually i meant Palin as Perry’s VP, although i didn’t make that very clear. Probably wouldn’t happen, but it sure would be interesting to watch.
Obama would wish he’d never been born ! LOL
I'm the furthest thing from a Mittbot but what Bain Capital and Mitt Romney did was not unethical or dishonest or anti-capitalist.
What Obama did by contrast was unconstitutional.

Oh, come on, WSJ. I watched the Bain video-there is some disturbing questions about him knowing when to buy, inflate the stocks and when to dump/close down good companies and then walk away with millions and destroy jobs. Did he have inside help? I see what Newt and Palin are talking about. Romney is a money man and cares about that. Some of you people there need to wake up. This wasn’t about bashing free market and making profits. Rush and Hannity went overboard and Palin tried to explain it is ok to ask these questions. But WSJ is doing damage control for their candidate.
Gingrich and Perry basically committed suicide. They were perceived as more conservative than Romney, but now that they take on the mantel of market-busters to paint Romney as the evil capitalist, they’ve essentially proven that they are not more conservative than Romney... in fact less so.
Of course, it does not show Romney to be conservative, just lowers the bar he must jump over. Maybe I’m in the wrong party. The Libertarian is looking better to me every day.
