It is always somewhat comforting to know that Someone Else is experiencing Happenings that are much more dire than my own.
At least it gives me a chance to comiserate with those who have less in common with the Street People.
(If I have hurt your feelings, it was totally unintentional. Either that, or you really MUST develop thicker skin!)
“***Grins and waves*** “ Smarter than the average bear! (Are the Yogi Bear cartoons before your time?)
Somehow, I can’t imagine Life Before Yogi Bear.
Or Loopy the Lion and Hardy Har Har.
Or Garfield Goose.
And to think my son got all of this, and hockey, too, through osmosis! I guess it’s a good thing I listened to classical music or he would have been born with a beer in his hand and saying, “Here! Hold this and watch this trick!”
The instructions that came with the belt sander said that 200 grit would yield adequate callouses. Maybe the grit ratings aren't standardized or it's just product puffery.
When Lowe's opens in the morning I'll buy some 80 grit. But there's gonna be some blood for a couple of weeks (I know, I know: my tagline).
Your Lowe’s closes??? You most likely dont live in Las Vegas Valley....
;o]
I should be asleep. I have to walk to Walmart again in the morning. It’s good for the weight loss, but my poor knees are revolting.
We share preferences—how divine! Do you ever walk around singing, “Winky Dink and you, Winky Dink and me”?
No, but often, “The Teddy Bears Picnic” broadsides me, and I wander around trying to minimize the effect it has on my ability to think rationally...
“...well all have nightmares!” I’d like to substitute Darks-induced nightmares for the ones I have now.
awwwwwwww....that changes everything then.
You’re not bad luck. You have been affected by bad juju.
Uh oh. Now, I’m going to do my chores singing the “Teddy Bears Picnic.” Lots of marvelous things to eat, and wonderful games to play....
Please, give me another song to replace it! Anything. Gregorian chant is fine. Please....
Nevermind. I’ve just replaced it w/Gene Autrey’s “Big Rock Candy Mountain” with chocolate bars all tacked to the stars....
Good morning. Achoo.
Bless you.
Thank you. I had a cat on the keyboard, right under my nose!
How are you today?
Praying for a blessing. Not expecting a blessing unless I go out and help myself to one. About to become busy seeking that blessing, while I pray. Pray you are well, and may you have a wonderful day!
I’m doing fine, thank you. I hope your day turns out according to your very best expectations.
Glad you are doing fine, and thank you for the hope for my day.
Hard to tell.
The grumbling rugs all have a variable appearance.
What would be an indicator is that Xagthrath scuttles along on the floor, lays still to appear to be a rug, hangs out behind appliances, and is an elder creature of legend.
