Squealing like a stuck pig.
Really, is there anything more disgusting than falsely promising a cure to the many individuals and their families dealing with such a heartbreaking illness?
Senator Ben Cardin, the Democrat scumbag from Maryland, did the same thing when he made an election year promise to cure cancer -- in 8 years, after his election and reelection.
Yes, there is, your cliched responses, and while we're at it, the trashy writing of a Michael Crichton.
(See Rising Sun, for example, for disgusting scares and promises.)
God rest his soul, he courageously spoke out against global warming alarmists like Al Gore, Nancy Pelosi and Newt Gingrich.
pat buchannan is grizzled old man and an a-hole
Newt wasn’t pretending to be Reagan incarnate.
He was comparing the current Sissy of the United States to Reagan.
Newt has plans that relate to our current predicament.
All I see is more kicking the can down the road.
It is my opinion, after seeing/hearing several well known Republican Conservatives, that some are jealous of Newt’s intelligence and are intent on proving he is not “the smartest person in the room.” They say that is what he thinks of himself and they are determined to prove that they are the smartest, not Newt. Rush and Bill Bennett are two of those people. Each has a reputation of being smart and they don’t want to share that with Newt.
>.’Nuff said. Now you tell me what you think ‘romney’ will do.
Lose to Obama in the general election.
Obamacare is lost as an issue. Romneycare was a key model for Obamacare.
More importantly, Romney has shown no ability to really take on the opposition and the media (but I repeat myself). Newt has. This is key for a Republican candidate. And since he is a large part of the topic of this thread, it is also something that Reagan was very good at. This same ability is an important part of why so many were big Herman Cain supporters, until his campaign imploded.
****Oh yeah. His idea of health care reform is promising to cure Alzheimers.****
Newt was drawing attention to our ever increasing life expectancy and how Altzhheimers during those extended years costs families both financially and emotionally.
He was advocating for investment in ‘brain sciences’ to eliminate this disease and its devastation.
That is called vision.
But Santorium is surging. /s
Newt has his chance. He needs to go away
He's already done the same in this race wih every establishment so-called conservative recoiling in horror at the thought of his nomination. Why? Simple. He doesn't play by their rules.
For that he should be Applauded not castigated.
I wasn’t a Newt fan, but his performance in this campaign has been stellar. I’m going to trust him at his word. He does have the Contract With America on his resume.
Actually, I think it’s that whole “circular firing squad” thing we’re so good at.
I see the closeted RomneyBots are playing today....
lol, you people are fooling nobody.
Gingrich will take over when the Southern states are up.

Day One of a Newt Gingrich Presidency
Presidents can begin turning things around very very quickly.
As part of his 21st Century Contract with America, Newt has pledged to issue a series of Executive Orders to create jobs and help undo the damage of the Obama administration on the first day of his administration.
To harness the wisdom and knowledge of the American people, Newt is now collecting ideas for executive orders that he would sign on the first day. Newt.org will periodically release user submitted executive orders which will be added to the list he will sign on the first day of his presidency.

Newt. Because he knows where the bodies in DC are buried...
and what goes on behind closed doors...
(and lots of other reasons, too)
Exactly, you nailed the intent.
They say that is what he thinks of himself and they are determined to prove that they are the smartest, not Newt.
Exactly. Newt is often "lost in translation" by third parties.
Democrats an media successfully used this tactic when he became Speaker, to undermine the Second Republican Revolution.
They also sowed the seeds of envy, and all kinds of conservatives and pseudo-conservatives are "translating" Newt to undermine him and to maintain their own reputation / position as the "movement leaders""opinion leaders," occasionally grudgingly giving credit to Newt for articulating positions or strategies (which may change over time, with the change in political landscape) that may not necessarily sound like "orthodox conservatism" which they must practice to stay on their high perch.
It is their business and they take it personally. Most often it's about differences in minutiae and is very petty and sad.
That Gingrich was able to accomplish so much in public policy and in business, despite numerous political enemies and frenemies on both sides, picking himself up and moving on despite political and personal setbacks, is nothing short of amazing.
I like your summnation .Too bad Newt did not just tell all the killer smear ads that he has changed and put forward these items like you did. He is obviously the smartest and best man for the job but seems now in Iowa to be out of it. Who knows? People might just rethink and wonder why they would vote for a 76 yr old foreign policy Quisling or a guy who has looked off and on like a Mass. lefty. I sort of like Mitt personally but still would rather see Newt as Prez. Hey, perhaps, Mitt would take the VP job............
