Can we see some documentation of this?

I've read media coverage of friendly interactions between Condoleeza Rice and Barack Obama, which is not surprising considering the long history of personal relationships in the relatively small group of highly educated black professionals who have risen to the upper levels of academia and government.

That doesn't bother me.

Most minorities of any race who are qualified to be in upper-level positions are old enough to have experienced real racism as a child, not the stuff that passes for racism today, and likely saw their parents’ careers harmed by outright bigotry. The sad reality is that a lot of people who are big fans of Republicans like Condoleeza Rice and Herman Cain had parents who were on the wrong side of history when it comes to race relations, and there was a day not that many years ago that black students at colleges and universities had to band together for self-preservation.

Maybe Rice could somehow justify voting for Obama in 2008 — I know other black professionals who did that — but I would be unhappy if that happened. If she did vote for Obama in 2008, given her training and subsequent career as a student of the former Soviet Union, I would hope she would have become very disillusioned in the last three years.
