I am starting to think the presidency is a hot potato. No one wants it because whoever is at the helm —gets the financial armageddon.

Amen, Jim.
I still can’t comprehend why Sarah ditched. I don’t know if I will ever forgive her.

Firstly, a case has to make it’s way to the USSC for review.
Are you too freaking stupid to understand that?

Don’t play dumb. A case wont be brought until the votes are there to overturn it.

Well Carolyn, it’s kinda hard to take you seriously. Checked your posting history briefly and you seem to like Big Government Romney. And you don’t post very often. So, go ahead. Poke the owner of FR. And push Romney. It’ll be interesting.

I think Jim is making the case for the most conservative candidate who can be elected, not for the perfect one that does not exist in this go round. It's shaking out to either Newt or Romney, and in this case Newt may have some RINO wanderings, but he also has some conservative creds.
I don't trust Newt for a lot of reasons, but right now I trust all the others a little less.
To: Carolyn826
Defining personhood by law, as being a person from conception, would be a huge first step ... Something Newt supports, I believe.

That video is from2005. He said he supported what Heritage had supported at that time, which they did. What was Rush referring to yesterday, that newt recently reaffirmed his IM support? Where?

I’m not a liberal. I’m a Conservative who isn’t interested in a candidate who is walking human grenade.

I sincerely believe pundits should be held accountable, too.
Gushing for Obozo 3 years ago should be enough to send a pundit back to the minors.

No doubt... world economies will collapse... but we have to rebuild... I want a Conservative to Captain our ship to recovery.

I want someone guiding our recovery in whom private enterprise will have faith because he’s been there and understands the challenges they face, from government and global forces.
To: LibLieSlayer
Good point. But I fear there are globalist vultures in the shadows waiting to put it all back together again in ways that would make Lenin proud. Who has what it takes to stand these forces down?

Nice, thanks for putting into words why I have always had a soft spot for Newt even when he wasn’t always lovable.

romney is satanic... a communist... newt cannot be sold as a Conservative and then support the Individual Mandate... which means that the government has the power to force us to buy a good or service and issues criminal punishment if you do not... and they can say who you have to buy it from and how much you have to pay. No way that can be construed as Conservative... no way no how!
