Vieded the clip. Newt did not say that there was no global warming or that it was not manmade. He called for greater dialogue on college campuses to discuss the facts. This is the way the typical Washington bureaucrat approaches problems, i.e., form a committee to study the problem and then file the study away. Debating the issue on college campuses is just another Newt solution that bears no relevance to reality.

The RINOs and progressives like Newt don’t have the stomach for the fight. As soon as one of their beltway elite friends start to poo poo any changes to Obamacare or any other communist program from Obama, they will be ready to cave. Newtie has a history of this. Kissing up to long face Kerry and sitting on the seat with San Fran Nan are just a couple of examples of this.

Consensus is the best Newt has to offer. But just wait till the dems start calling the lib Senators from Tennessee radical right wing extremists. Then the consensus will be communist ideas that moderate liberal ideas on the right and marxist ideas on the left.

The democrats will band together with a group of RINOs who will look to Newtie for cover. They will ram through every liberal idea, Soros program, defense cut, illegal giveaway and tax increase that they can think up. That is what you get when you put your faith in a RINO.

I know this from experience. The so-called conservatives who elected Charlie Crist here in Florida sound exactly like these Newt supporters when told about their candidate’s liberal proclivities. We just want to beat so and so became a very hollow cry once the RINOs started trying to water down everything.

You’re also forgetting we’d lose the vegetarian/vegan vote.

Guess it’s over for us, then. /sarc

Newt has been able to idenyify problems and offer solutions. He has a positive record of working for and acheiving conservative goals. He is standing up to the media and the democrats, they are who he attacks and not fellow Republicans and conservatives. Newt is leading in the polls because of his own abilities that have really been highlighted by the side by side comparison with his rivals. I believe Newt will grow stronger with these attacks. I respect what Glen Beck has done and the knowledge he has imparted, I’m not a progressive but I still appreciate TR and I intend to support Newt aslong as he is in the race because he is the leader America needs at this time.

AMEN......

A month ago people were constantly saying, "we can't allow them to pick our candidate" and "we can't keep voting for the lesser of two evils" yet here we are, one week closer and I see a whole lot of people preparing to do exactly that.

Beck has sounded more disappointed to find that TR was not the freedom fighter we’ve been raised to believe he was. He saves his strongest venom for the diabolical bastard from hell, Woodrow Wilson.

I don’t look at Newt as the lesser of evils, I look at Newt as our best alternative.

I was wondering where the idea Newt’s a Progressive was coming from when it started to show up here on FR. Looks like from Beck onto his viewers who are carrying his message.... That does explain it.

Just like the blows against Newt on gun control are coming from Ron Paul...and his Paulites are carrying it across the net.

Looks like the pundits are all taking their turn knocking or trying to trip up our canidates as well as all the media. No wonder poltiicains have to have armor on...

Not hard saying our country is in a foul mood to say the least!

I’ve been griping about Newt since he was catching up to Cain. You are free to check it out.

I detest Newt and think Repubs are going to rue the day they supported him.

Having said that, I vote R in the general.

Then it’s going to be business as usual and we’ll continue marching toward a life run completely by the government. Newt is AWFUL. He’s a big proponent of the NWO. That should send conservatives running as fast and far away from him as possible.

Bunny...it's a tough election...there are no easy choices. Further they are all flawed without exception... still, one has to consider the overall danger this country is in and determine who has the abilities and the capabilities to turn it from it's collapse...that's where I'm at...and who has the plans to do that and believes in them...Newt has it...and further he knows how to move congress to get the job done...he'll use whatever means to do so and yes will bully the bullies to do so. The soft at heart shouldn’t be in politics to begin with.

Not to mention who has the gonads to go up against Obama and ‘completely’ reveal him for what he is...Newt can do a dressing down as no other.

In the end we'll all vote R. in order to boot Obama...but let's try to get the one who can do the job...I think Newt can...will he disappoint...certainly...will he sell out our country...nope.

I think Romney would be better.

Newt is stubborn and thinks he is always right and will push all these weird government plans on people.

I don’t like Newt’s amnesty fixation. I don’t hear Romney wanting to push amnesty.
