And some here believe if you aren’t in a Mexico border state, you have no right to criticize or even offer solutions.
Leave it to a woman from Minnesota to school everyone else.

"THERE IS NOT AND NEVER WILL BE A MAJORITY FOR DEPORTATION OF MOST ILLEGALS."
"I think, on the whole, that this is a bad thing, because it is a symptom of weakness in our culture - but just because I think that doesn't mean we should nominate a man certain to lose because of a pro-deportation stance."
"A position to the right of Obama on this question can attract majority support."
Be careful, if you spout too much common sense, you need to watch your back.

What part of illegal doesnt Newt understand? What is the Federal statute of limitations for harboring illegals, making false statements, immigration offenses, and fraud?
Hint: It's a lot less than 25 years.

Rick Perry actually implemented his own vision on the border and these brave warriors are protecting the United States while Perry gets attacked relentlessly and unfairly.
Didn't know that but agree he has been attacked unfairly. No one gave a hoot what TX has endured until now - and, now, it's only for political reasons. So 'their concern' is null and void as is their criticism.
The gov't failed Perry didn't. And everyone of those candidates are part of the gov't - they each had their own platform to speak out and force some control over the border but they didn't. They are part of the problem, IMO. The AZ governor has tried and look what Barry did. Didn't hear from any of these candidates about it. They didn't stand together but they (MB/MR) do now only to point fingers along w/their supporters. Americans hire them, also. We are all responsible in some way. I believe Newt and Perry take it serious enough and would tackle it head on and not with pie in the sky expectations. Like Perry has said over and over - the border first. I think he's the only one who can credibly speak on this - as he's been the one battling it - the others are only speaking from their political butts to appear 'hard nosed' on illegals - which, of course, we like/want to hear.

Cool.
How is she going to round up and deport all those folks who have been here 25 years? How will she sell the idea of the US government using LEOs to split up families?
We are waiting to be schooled.
Hey, maybe she can bring Janet Reno back...

On the right again, and just as cute. Cute or not though, I disagree with her. Newt is not a candidate I admire, like, or trust, but Newt is tolerable and a whole lot better than Romney or Obama.

Sorry, but this whole debate last night was engineered to hurt Newt - the one the media fears most. All of you here complaining about him are giving the MSM a victory.
Newt was hardly called upon to answer questions - he could have knocked most of them out of the park. The focus was mostly on Paul to make it appear that he is “coming back.”
The few questions he was asked were designed to damage him - an assault by Wolf Blitzer, whom we know came into the debate with the intent to damage Newt.
The bottom line is that, like it or not, Newt is far better than Obama and the best of the field that can actually win the primary. Shhhhhh... don’t tell the MSM...
And, as someone has already mentioned, 25 years is not an arbitrary number... 1986 was the year Reagan granted “Amnesty,” even though he was duped. So, the people Newt was talking about are already legal under Reagan’s law.

Just to be safe, we better elect as many Tea Partiers as possible to Congress. Exactly! If we nominate someone easy to admire, then we should be working to elect that person. If we nominate a questionable RINO, or Romney where there is no question at all that he's far to the left, then that is all the more reason to get out and vote. We have to elect a House and Senate that will restrain the leftist tendencies of any candidate we cannot support. I will be voting in the national elections and working to get other patriotic voters to the polls, even if the nominee is the one I cannot support.

Newt is a disaster. Always was. His supporters latched onto him as it appears there are few options.
I will not for Newt.

Yeh Newt is a whole lot worse than the crack smoking, possibly gay Muslim Marxist who sits in the White Hut now. I’d rather SE would focus on that than eviscerating our guys.

Again, this is the wishful thinking engaged in by people like Rick Perry & the Pubbie establishment in TX. Having winked at illegal immigration for years, they now find that the Hispanic vote is so huge that they figure they will pander to it, in order to prolong Pubbie dominance in TX a few more years. But they are doomed, because Hispanics vote overwhelmingly Demonrat.
All this stuff about how "conservative" and "family-oriented" Hispanics are is nonsense. Like other Catholics, they include some conservatives, but most of them do not even follow church teaching. They are just useful idiots for the Left. They have no cultural orientation towards limited govt. or even the rule of law. Those are ideas which developed in the context of an Anglo-Saxon population.
To: rintense
Ok, give us your plan (or MB's) for A)indentifying them, rounding them up, B) confining them C) processing them, D)deporting them and then E)dealing with the backlash of using the Federal Government to destroy families.
Please be specific and detailed for each step.
I remain 'waiting to be schooled'.

Identifying Them? Cripe, there are illegals protesting everywhere!
But since you’re being an illegals apologist, I will answer your post when I head home from work.
In the meantime, what’s your solution, Newt Perry?

SE Cupp is right this time (broken clock?).
When are they going to wake up to the idea that the middle class has had it. The credit card is maxed.
While ‘separating families at Christmas due to the fact they are here illegally’ is sad, I had to tell my own kids that ‘Daddy’s earning 10 percent of what he used to earn, so things are going to be tight for a while’.
I’m out of sympathy for criminals, rich or poor.
Try Corzine and then KILL HIM!!!! We used to hang people for stealing horses. What’s the penalty for betting somebody elses money and being VERY wrong?
We can be humane about it, don’t hang them, or put them in plastic shredders, just do the lethal injection bit and then put the dead, cold, black corpse on a full page ad in the WSJ and say, “Think twice about stealing your clients money.”
