Do you want to know about a shocking statistic? More people have died from wind turbine tower accidents than all the nuclear accidents in Western Europe & North America plus China plus India combined!To be more clear, please post more information about this post.

You missed my point. My point was that green projects should be subjected to the same scrutiny as other projects. All projects, included green projects, need to cover their clean up costs.

More workers killed falling down the turbine towers than nuclear power accidents. I remember reading this at a reliable source. Did not jot down link, saw no need to.

(Trying to being some reality to an increasingly strange internet environment)

Approx. a half mile from where we are living in Lewes, DE the University of Delaware has one lonely wind turbine. Some sort of study being done. Don't know the details. I can look out my front window and see the blades turning. The annoying thing about it is the noise. All day and all night you can hear the whoosh, whoosh of the blades. Can't imagine what it is like for those living even closer to it.
