You are wrong... but that’s okay with me.
Wait a minute... you might not be wrong, but I’m okay with that too.
Enjoy....
“She will be crushed in any kind of fight with Newt.”
LOL. I bet Newt is already pissing in his pants at the prospect of facing Bachmann in the next debate.
Watch how he folded to John Kerry and conceded that urgent action is needed to stop global warming:

Bachmann will shread him to pieces.
“Im serious about having a conservative, but I want someone with executive experience. I dont think that is too much to ask.”
I’m with you. And, I have my eye on the prize, beating Obama is the goal here. I would vote for almost anyone over Obama. Newt Gingrich is imperfect. Anyone in the public eye as long as Newt has shown some flaws, and had their moments. I can only imagine the flaws any of us would reveal in that light.
I’ve scoffed at Gingrich more than a few times. I’m uneasy with some of his flaws, but he’s the best of the bunch. As of this moment, he has my vote.
She's going to lose her House seat regardless, due to redistricting. Although if she continues her self-implosion, MN Democrats might change their minds about redistricting away her seat and just try to beat her, while drawing the lines to try to take another GOP seat.
She has no national campaign -- it's all Iowa for her, and there's no indication she's doing all that well there. As noted, she's the first to echo the latest attack piece on another candidate... unless it's Romney, for some odd reason (maybe it's the dearth of MSM Romney hit pieces, maybe something less benign).
I'm really not sure why she's even remaining in the race and how she's funding it. The smart move would be to pull out and use whatever she's banked to fund a Senate campaign back in MN.
Years before, newt said he supported such a mandate.
“What does she mean by that?”
She means that Newt is a backer of Obamacare and she is right:

“He also understands the truth that there is NO perfect candidate....and never will be.”
I was impressed by the article as well. I won’t allow the perfect to be the enemy of the good. Newt Gingrich is pretty good, and if he gets the controls of government away from the Obama communists, he’ll be doing us all a huge favor.
I’ve done my share of Newt bashing, but he’s the best out there, and he will know how to twist arms and conduct the backroom negotiations needed to make America function.

But when it comes to Bachmann and Romney, nary a discouraging word is ever heard.
Bachman did not lie. This article was posted on FR at the time:
Snippet from Newsmax, May 2011:
“Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich said Sunday that he strongly supports a federal mandate requiring citizens to buy health insurance a position that has been rejected by many Republicans, including several who likely will be running against him for the Republican presidential nomination.
Appearing on NBCs Meet the Press, Gingrich told host David Gregory that he continues to advocate for a plan he first called for in the early 1990s as a Congressman, which requires every uninsured citizen to purchase or acquire health insurance.
Gregory played a clip of Gingrich speaking during an appearance on Meet the Press in October 1993:
I am for people, individuals — exactly like automobile insurance — individuals having health insurance and being required to have health insurance. And I am prepared to vote for a voucher system which will give individuals, on a sliding scale, a government subsidy so we insure that everyone as individuals have health insurance.
Gregory asked Gingrich if he would criticize GOP presidential rival Mitt Romney, whose “Romneycare” health program enacted during his time as Governor in Massachusetts mandated that all uninsured purchase health insurance.
Gingrich replied he would not make it an issue in the campaign and said he agreed with key aspects of Romneycare.
“I agree that all of us have a responsibility to pay—help pay for health care,” Gingrich said, adding, “I’ve said consistently we ought to have some requirement that you either have health insurance or you post a bond ...”

Ive done my share of Newt bashing...Me too!
If there was an easy way to search posting history, not just start displaying from the top and then paging down one by one, you would be able to see the many, many times I've lambasted Newt.
And now I'm going to vote for him.
So, would YOU work for nothing?
some of you people are on the fringe.
Professor Jacobson is suffering from cognitive dissonance. Minimizing the many Newt shortcomings while optimizing Newt’s alleged strengths.
Let me know when Professor Jacobson decides to throw his hat in the ring. Otherwise, his personal views have no bearing on how Michelle conducts her campaign.
You mean Bachmann lied about her alleged relationship to Freddie Mac like Newt has? How $300,000 consultant fee became a $1.6M eight-year retainer?
You, sir, might want to pray for a large dose of wisdom.
Speaker Gingrich is one of the few who has freely admitted that he made mistakes and that he sinned. As a Christian, I believe that men can change. I am willing to give him the benefit of the doubt here due to the horrendous predicament in which we find ourselves.
I will be praying for our candidate...no matter who that might be.
MY personal view is that Michelle Bachmann has attacked in a way that hurts HER...and I like much of what she stands for.
