I'm beginning to wonder whether this is a racial/cultural thing not only in the sense of Politico having an agenda. Some of my black friends/associates have a different way of, now do I say it, being (appropriately) friendly. Their idea of a compliment could be taken as forward to someone who didn't know them. I know some white/non-black dudes who do similarly (and can pull it off), but I've seen it most in black men. It would be interesting to know whether any of the accusers are black.
Cain, being an executive, should know when to turn this off, but it could be simply misreading some women. He wouldn't be the first man to have this trouble. (</CaptainObvious>)
