People who cannot afford to buy diapers have no business having a baby.

One can laugh, but aren’t there better uses of paper and computer space than stuff like this?

Good gravy! Just go to Walmart ... unless the psychotic socialist government of Connecticut won’t let you. A large box of house-brand diapers is cheaper than a six-pack of Red Bull.

Notice the Governor does not propose the state fund it.

Since they’re already getting:
Sec 8 housing
energy assistance
food stamps
school breakfast & lunch
WIC food subsidies
free cell phones
$10 high speed internet
and earned income credits
it’s not surprising that they would thing somebody should give them diapers.

I had 5 kids—before there were disposable diapers. Whatever happened to cloth diapers—you know, the kind you wash, dry, and reuse? People on welfare could be given three dozen cloth diapers with each newborn. The rest should be up to them.
Why aren’t people yelling about landfills anymore. Half of what’s there is probably disposable diapers.

Is that guy on SSN who acts like a “adult” baby going to get in on this? Or maybe his nanny will hook him up - so to speak.
To: GeronL
Fine, lets make the taxpayers buy diapers on 1 condition. They have to be cloth diapers and we buy them 1 time per mother.
I am so sick of other people expecting the rest of us to pay for their poor choices.
My cousin posted tonight on facebook that she can’t afford medical care. I posted that if she can afford to play dress up at a gamers convention on the other side of the country, she can afford medical care.

Cloth diapers are a great way to fight the evil corporate giant too.
