Never pick a fight with folks who buy ink by the barrel.

This is a digital war, and groups like anonymous don't pay a dime for the tools they use to wage it. They will use botnets and compromised servers to launch the attack. At the end of the day, they know where foxnews.com "lives" and it can't hide while remaining accessible to the public.

We need much stricter punishments for cyber crime. Until we get serious, this type of thing will only increase in frequency and intensity.

These people have not taken into account the massive wealth and influence that Fox News has. The reward money for any action taken will more than sufficient to have those of Anonymous who are not so committed to give up the whole rotten organization.

Commander X and the Peoples’ Liberation Front

Provides interviews and videos about Anonymous. Says that “we are not a terrorist organisation”. In 2011, he was at the center of an investigation into Anonymous by Aaron Barr, who claimed to have identified him as a San Francisco gardener. Interviewed following the attack on HBGary Federal, Commander X revealed that while Barr suspected that he was a leader of the group, he was in his own words a “peon”.

However, Commander X did claim to be a skilled hacker and founding member of an allied organization, the Peoples Liberation Front (PLF).
