The current administration may soon prove to have been criminally short-sighted with its active involvement in removing authoritative - yet stable - Middle East leaders, handing countries that are vital to the stability of the region over to Muslim radicals bent on the destruction of Israel.

I suspect it is intentional.

That is my fear as well. The media, as usual, is singing the praises of Obama, with little thought as to what comes next. Under Obama’s watch the Middle East has undergone a radical transformation that is both stunning and alarming. As a lifelong student of Biblical prophecy who has written on the subject (as well has having lived in the Middle East), it is very possible that we may be seeing war in the Middle East in the not too distant future. There is something unfathomable - and ominous - about the man, especially in the light of how he has supported the forces of destabilization and anti-Israel hatred in the region. Qaddafi was rabidly anti-Semitic as well, but at least Libya was essentially sidelined in recent years. Now, with radicals in charge across North Africa, the future looks very troubling. Egypt, as always, is the key, as the strongest Arab military force in proximity to Israel. And, of course, the question becomes, when war comes, will an Obama administration step in to support and protect Israel? This, in my view, is a major reason why the 2012 elections are so critical.

Yes, I thought further south too, until the Sirte battle had dragged on longer than I thought it would. Night, night, I have to get up early and leave town for the weekend.
