This can’t be right! Why Cain and Mitt are in a conspiracy together! Cain wins the nomination and then hands it to Mitt.
That was a dumb thing to say Hermann when a NRST is a very tough sell, either in Congress or the SCOTUS.
Yeah, Cain is only going after Romney for having a “too detailed” plan.
All of Romney’s flip-flopping and liberal positions somehow aren’t worthy of Herman’s notice.
This is encouraging. I wasn’t comfortable with his comments that made it sound like he was interested in being Romney’s (or anybody’s) VP pick. You want to know Cain (and each of them) is in it to win. When all the votes are cast, if Cain ends up as someone else’s VP pick, that’s fine, but you sure don’t want to hear that before the caucuses/primaries even start.
Just like the last debate...still waiting...
I know, clearly Cains plan is to win the nomination and then hand it to Mitt.
Yawn.
Until Cain goes after Romney for being a RINO good ol’ boy country club Republican weasel, what’s the point?
Those two can compare economic plans all they want, but somebody needs to point out that Romney is too damn liberal for to be the nominee.
Romney = McCain ‘08 all over again.
I noticed that Cain the TALKERS refers to himself a lot in the third person which is really stupid.
Q20 If the Republican race for President came down to Mitt Romney and Hermain Cain, who would you vote for?
Herman Cain................................................... 48%
Mitt Romney.................................................... 36%
Not sure .......................................................... 16%
At any rate, Gov. Perry drops out (and so do others), as I see it, and as this critical shift starts, it is up to Cain to really focus in on Mitt Romney from his Conservative/Tea Party Wing de-facto leadership position, and vanquish the RINO Establishment and Mitts but good. There is a lot of debate and TV script/narrative material that can be used to knock Mitt out of the top tier for this nomination, even if the slick RINO-in-Chief thinks he can buy this thing outright or reel it in the boat on the strength of big name GOP establishment types’ endorsements alone. The Base will coalesce and revolt anyway, 1980 style, Herman Cain will be the perfect stalking horse to take down Mitt politically in the late autumn and winter. You heard it here first; some of these other people saying or intimating (without a shred of evidence) that some kind of collusion existed or exists between Mr. Cain and Gov. Romney I think needed to have their heads examined.
Conservatives already know Romney is too sleazy, liberal, and untrustworthy. That’s why after 4 years of running for President, he still only has 25% of the vote (RINO wing) and establishment cash to show for it.
IF Cain had to bow out, who do you think he would endorse?
Ref. your Post #5: I’ve observed Herman Cain tries to stay about the fray and dwell on specific issues rather than personal attacks. But, your point is well taken, my friend.
Thats a big If, Not sure admittedly he did support Mitt in the past and he doesn’t think Perry has what it takes, Maybe Newt.
Now when Perry bows out who do you think he will back? And if you say Cain I’ll know you are full of it.
Bachmann has stayed “above the fray” re: Romney as well.
Oh, and Cain is my choice from among the alternatives as well.
The real issue is a GOP too corrupt to let voters make a real choice.
