‘I got a once-over by Clarity, then I proved my chops in subsequent messages and full-on quality vanities. Took me about a year, and the Bush Inaugeral Presentation for the Bush Inaugeration Free Republic Ball, before I was truly accepted.”

Jim Thompson can!

My only question is: who around here is supporting Myth?
I can honestly say I haven’t seen a single person say anything complimentary about the man in 3 or 4 years - except maybe that he has nice hair.

"Don't get me wrong, I don't want Romney either. But the above is a fact."
"So is the fact that all of the above were appointed by Presidents with an (R) after their names.""
As is the fact that 23 of the 36 judges Myth appointed in Massachusetts were DEMOCRATS.

“If the GOP establishment give us Pits Romney, then we ought to occupy the RNC!”
Its like ‘08 all over again! Back then they told us that Giuliani was the obvious and only winnable candidate. They tried to shove him down our throats. Then he cratered. Then they picked the next most liberal candidate McCain who was on the verge of quitting the race and threw all their support behind him. I’m getting really tired of them playing these games. The GOP would have control of the senate if they had supported the Alaska candidate and ODonnell in 08. They were just too tea partyish so the GOP hung em out to dry.
Thank you.
Note the difference in spellings.
Little Jeremiah is correct, BibChr, I am on record for years not that I will never vote for Mitt Romney.
My son-in-law returned in June from Afghanistan. One of their greatest fears was of those Afghanis they had taken into their camps and into their confidence.
Those men could injure them far more 24 hours a day than could the enemy they engaged in face-to-face engagements.
Better the enemy who is your enemy than the friend who is actually your enemy.
Zechariah 13:6 “And one shall say unto him, What are these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.”
JimRob- A little late reading this (worked all weekend) but thanks for posting it! I’ve been saying the same thing since this election cycle began.... NO RINO’s... NO RINOROMNEY.
I will NEVER vote for a RINO again. If Romney gets the nomination, I will write in a conservative.
I haven’t really seen anyone outwardly support Myth... but I have seen many posts admonishing fellow freepers that IF Myth gets the nomination we must vote for him because the alternative is much worse.
My answer? If Myth is the nominee and we don’t vote for him and then zero gets the presidency for 4 more years, we deserve it.

I think there's actually a better reason not to support him if he gets the nomination. If he WINS, the statist elite-favor-courting policies he'll doubtless pursue will drive the country to further ruin. It won't be worse than Obama would do....but it will be blamed on the GOP and conservatives.
The Myth/McStain/Graham type is always shocked to find out that all those media types who say nice things about them suddenly stop once they're elected. Myth will be a mushy Bush-type RINO, but he'll be portrayed as a conservative. And the right will be dead for a generation.
Having said ALL this, I do see how it could be a tough call for some. There is the SC and Myth's nominees would probably be not quite as wretched as Filth's. And hopefully a GOP controlled house and senate would send him bills that would move in the right direction and he'd be hard-pressed to veto them.
So all that is to say that I will personally be voting libertarian if Myth gets the nod. But I don't think a person who holds his nose and votes for Myth is necessarily to be condemned.

I like Herman Cain best among all the candidates, then Bachmann, then I’d even vote for Perry in the general if he’s our candidate. Almost anybody but Romney, I will never vote for a ticket that he’s on in any position.
Paul and Huntsman are also unacceptable but I believe they will always be “fringe” and therefore not even worth discussing.
I’m hoping that after Romney gets his well deserved beat down this season, that he will have the good sense to just disappear from the political scene forever.
If the tea party conservatives take over there might be a drastic reduction in cocktail parties on Capitol Hill and Karl Rove lives for those little cocktail weinies and finger food. The dhimmicrats use them as bait for him.
Sure ya didn't ;-)
I cannot say that I was sad.
Not sad, just full. ;-)
MEGA TAXMAN BRAVO ZULU!
You've got to vote, Nana! What's it gonna be; the Turd Sandwich or the Giant Douchebag?
A Romney supporter posted that “we have to select a nominee that the late night talk show hosts like if we want to win.” That was a few months ago. I can’t remember who it was.
