Perdue said she thinks that temporarily halting elections would allow members of Congress to focus on the economy... I wonder if 'suspending the elections' - and the constitution that calls for elections - was part of the 'fast and furious' plan. It feels like there's a connection.
Obviously this governor knows it's not a question of 'time' - but of agreement. A 'jobs' plan could be passed tomorrow if either side totally gave into the other... That's not our way - but it is the way of dictators...
Before we suspend the Constitution and the election that document calls for, let's cut Congressional vacations days... (weeks, months?)
