I never told you to leave FR, I am just starting the obvious: that your candidate has massive problems with regard to conservatives and illegal immigration, and your defense of his actions lays bare your conservative shortcomings. Plus your extra long response smacks of desperation, and is indicative of someone on the wrong side of the debate. Sorry if that bothers you, it’s just the facts.

I guess that loud boo for his comments last night was just from the “deport them all crowd.”

Yep. Are you surprised?

Plus your extra long response smacks of desperation,

Too funny! I just love that!

Well, try reading all my FR posts. Guess I'm just desperate all the time.

Hey, come to think of it... I AM desperate! I'm desperate to get an electable conservative nominee!

That said, if you want to see long remarks, how about if I send you an email? Or two.

Maybe three.

Three of my emails should keep you busy for a couple of weeks.

They should be deported. Their education is the responsibility of their parents, not Americans.

I agree. I liked the best Bachmann and Cain. I have doubts they will win the nomination. However, any of the candidates, weak though they may be, is an improvement over Obama, especially when it comes to the Supreme Court.

32.6% in Houston and 44.1% in Minneapolis-St. Paul. No comparison!

Errrr.... Houston is much bigger selling way more homes. No comparison to a tiny town!

You didn't bother to read the links that I posted. My opinion is the same as the owner of this site. Is he an ego maniac too?

The lesser of two evils is still evil.

Perry did ask for the national guard.
The fed did not authorize them.

As far as the TTC goes, how did Perry steal land if the project never happened?

Eminent domain is for things like roads.
As far as Cintra, I don’t think they were to “OWN” any land.
They were to manage it and I was against that, but it is a moot point because Perry capitulated to the popular view of his constituency on the matter.

Percentages don’t care.

Also...the Twin Cities have over 3 million people...whereas Houston has just over 2 million.

I will mention...

The median price (8/2010 to 8/2011) in Minneapolis-St. Paul went down 10.2%.

The median price in Houston went up 0.1%.

Your post 19 was removed, as you presented it as fact and, when pressed to provide a link, simply pointed to another thread where you stated it as an opinion. If you can point to independent factual verification of what you presented in 19, I will restore it.

AM, there is no factual evidence that Perry ever voted for Reagan.

And there is no evidence that he did not vote for Reagain, either. And that is the point. If you state that particular claim as your opinion, it can stand. If you state it as fact, it will not, as you cannot prove it either way without a statement from Perry as to how he voted. FR should not be used to be used to try and establish false facts. We get enough of that from the MSM as it is.

Partial excerpt from post 143 of thread:

Oh since this came up, let me add post 143 which has nothing to do with the admin but clarifies that Perry voted for Reagan

Third, Perry is on record as saying he voted for Reagan, twice.

Bachmann is conservative, but has shown she doesn’t have the executive or leadership experience. She’s not ready for prime time. Gingrich is the most intelligent and well-spoken on topic, but his past history (Global Warming, Immigration, beltway mentality) is a non-starter for me. Cain comes closest to what I described. What-you-see-is-what-you-get. I’m not a fan of a national sales tax plan so that part of his 999 plan doesn’t make me happy, but he’s personable, open to everyone, and I simply like the guy. Perry is a RINO with former democrat credentials. I don’t care what these bots have to say. There’s too much out there on him for them to blanket him as a conservative. Romney is even worse than Perry. He’s the rich elitist who feels he’s the chosen this time. As for the rest, bletch..... Oh, there’s renewed talk about Christie getting into the rest. Thanks, but no thanks. He’s done some things with NJ but he’s no conservative.

Rick Perry actually tried to stay focused on Obama the first two debates. Then, the big news of last week’s debate was Bachmann’s attack on Perry, and Romney got a bounce because of it.

Last night was a disgrace, primarily because Chris Wallace seemed more interested in having the candidates attack each other instead of speak to their positions and contrast them with what’s going on now in America.
