“Clock ticking on Sarah Palin entry into 2012 presidential race”

So her timing is beginning to get under Politico’s skin? EXCELLENT.
She will fight on ground of HER choosing, not ground of Karl Rove’s or Politico’s choosing.

You mean you can’t smell them? And you can’t see the media water they spill all over a Sarah thread? They answer to Polly or pissant.

Here are a couple reasons. I’m sure others will chime in with more. First, Palin is not going to rely on big money donations from the Republican Establishment. Donations will be from grassroots supporters. Every day she is not in the race is a day she is not spending money. Second, she’s letting the press vet Perry a little more before she steps into the room and sucks up all the oxygen.

“in fairness to supporters... I don’t want to be seen as or perceived as stringing people along, asking supporters, ‘Oh don’t just jump in there on someone else’s bandwagon because I may jump in, so hold off a little bit.’ That is not fair to them. After another month or two goes by, they need to know who it is that they can jump behind.”
I think she “gets it”, and by this statement she shows that she’s aware that it’s not “all about her” — that there is something larger than herself at stake (beating Obama).
She’ll announce pretty soon. By the end of September, I think.
I can’t even guess whether the announcement will be, “I’m in”, or “I’m out”.
Just my 2c

Unlike those who unequivocally assert whether Sarah Palin will run or not (as if they actually knew) I have no idea. I only hope that she does and if she does, I'm confident that Palin will have considered all the dates and fees for filing in the various states. That would seem to be a basic thing that any candidate would be doing. While some carp about Palin 'flirting' with her supporters about running, I see her as akin to Ronald Reagan. Not only in her sensible, conservative political views but in the way she has kept herself relevant by her Fox News gig, her PAC, using
Facebook and
Twitter to keep her name and her political commentary in the public eye. If she declares her candidacy, no one will be asking
'Sarah who?'. I'm highly skeptical of polls that claim no one will vote for Palin but yet she draws huge, affirmative crowds anytime she makes a public appearance.
Obama is circling the drain, politically and I believe that whomever receives the Republican presidential nomination will be the next president. The left will fight tooth and nail to stop that candidate, especially a conservative such as Sarah Palin. Unfortunately, the Republican establishment will push back, too on any true conservative candidate. Both can be defeated, as Reagan defeated the left and the GOP establishment in 1980. As I often state, I'm well aware that 'Sarah Palin isn't Ronald Reagan' and that times are different. However, we have a bad economy, global chaos and people are worried and becoming angry at politics-as-usual in Washington. Sarah Palin is the antithesis of 'politics-as-usual' and has the record to prove it. She also has charisma, no small attribute in a politician running against the tide of the leftmedia and the GOP establishment. However, Sarah Palin is a fighter who loves her country and I believe that if she runs, she'll prevail. She'll certainly have my vote.

IMHO, if anybody, even Sarah, goes 3rd party that will guarantee nobama a second term. I really don’t think Sarah is that foolish.

Clock ticking on Sarah Palin entry into 2012 presidential raceIt's hilarious.
Somebody learned how to tell time? You know, big hand, little hand? Give them a gold star.
I didn't know Sarah's staff was numerous enough to have some reatrds remind her of what time it is. Or maybe it's just that some people haven't had a real job for years and the demands of propaganda aren't all that demanding.

I need the ground rules laid out here so I don't get the zot.
Well look who is here - mr sympathy seeker. Tell us again about how you don't go on Sarah threads. You want ground rules - keep it honest and stop spreading your 'zot' game around. If you don't want to get the zot - don't ask for it. Is that too much over your head to grasp?

I hope Sarah doesn’t announce until the very last legally possible minute. It’s hilarious what she’s doing to the pundits and most candidates by waiting. They are either going nuts or suffocating from a lack of oxygen. If it were up to me, which it’s not, I would say she get in January 1st 2012. Look, Sarah is going to do very well with her new style of campaign and I only hope all you detractors out there have some good meds, or a lot of booze. I worry about you I really do.
