It has certainly impacted my view of her as a leader, since I am disgusted by the rabid attacks on fellow conservatives that her FR supporters are engaging in on fellow FReepers.

Wah!

Aren’t you the poster how just posted to Jim Robinson because somebody was critical of Sarah Palin? I guess the only GOP candidates who can be bashed is everyone of them not named Sarah Palin. Whoops, difference is, Palin hasn’t even announced if she’s running.

Wah!!, indeed.

I’ve already put a couple notorious thumpers on notice that if they’ve not already been zotted before hand, the day she announces and they’re continuing to trash her, they get the zot. Guaranfreepingteed!

I shook Sarah Palin’s hand as well, and I’d do it again.

What’s your glitch?

Bemoan?

I laugh at them.

They’ve made her a guaranteed winner in the election, by lowering the bar.

For me, this approach has gotten tiresome

Was it tiresome for you when Perry, until only recently, didn't let people know if he was running? Is it tiresome that Paul Ryan won't say for certain if he's running?

I don't agree with this insistence that Palin has to announce to fit others' timetables. Or that she has to announce because, supposedly, that's how it's always been done (even though candidates in the past have announced in September). It's ridiculous and beyond petty. She'll announce when she announces. There's no holy writ that says, "Thou must announce in July," and frankly, I love that she does things differently.

Carling, Gov. Palin is not trying to "harm the GOP".
She is trying to FREE the GOP.

yet Palin, through her PAC, has her supporters actively seeking to harm the GOP, and it's not even primary season

I realize I don't understand this thread, coming on late and all......

Can you explain what you mean by this? It makes no sense.

>> “ It makes no sense.” <<

Nothing carling posts ever makes sense.

Anything that might appeart to make sense is purely accidental, and should be ignored.

Carling is here to deflect Palin’s domination of this election cycle, and to do as much damage as possible to FreeRepublic, and its image, due to Jim’s vocal support of Palin.

They definitely fear Palin’s inevitable victory, because it will undo 100 years of intense evil and marxist deviance in American government.

They know that we have been awakened, as a people, and that we are determined to see this through.

That is why there are so many nonsense candidates, like Perry, Bachmann, and numerous other inexperienced congress critters declaring their candidacy early, that in a normal election would not even waste their time and money. Normally, Romney would have been enough.

Carling is just one idiot cog in a huge and growing idiot machine installed to prevent the taking back of American government.

Yeah, the PDS’ers think that it’s a Palin-rrun conspiracy and that we’re all on SarahPAC’s payroll. Funny that I didn’t see my name mentioned anywhere in SarahPAC’s regular FEC filings, except as a donor.

No, the real story here is Rupert Murdoch paying pollsters like Scott Rasmussen to offer phony polls downplaying Sarah Palin’s chances.

editor-surveyor, you should call Geraldo and crack into this vault!

Cuckoo, cuckoo

It’s my opinion that Palin and her PAC are allowing her supporters to smear and slime other GOP candidates by subtly leaking things about Bachman and others. There are plenty of examples of it in this thread. I also found it hypocritical for Palin to call for non-establishment GOP candidates for 2012 when she actively campaigned for John McLame in 2010.

That said, I think Palin is a great woman and and a better leader than McLame or Obama. I just think she is damaged goods in terms of the general electorate for a variety of reasons.

A very strange opinion indeed, one that has zero evidence for it. Are you really sure you want to go there?

Sounds pretty tin foil hattish to me........

Not knowingly allowing it, but her silence and her evasiveness only serves to divide the conservative base at this point.

Thank you for disagreeing with me in a courteous manner, though, and I’m certainly not anti-Palin, and will support either her or Bachmann if she does enter the race. With that, I’m out of this thread. There are more pressing topics to be discussed on FR!
