Assad is backed into a corner. Will he try to "do something" in or to the States on his way out the door?

Yeah....like any leader of the any country is going to listen to Obama? He has no standing in the world. 60 years ago, the Syrian leader would be shaking in his boots because American Presidents meant what they said.

Next to follow - rule by the Islamic Brotherhood.
Are we really sure we want to be fomenting fundamentalist revolution and setting up these people all over the Middle East?

Assad is a figurehead...he'd been living in London all is life until his father died...then the powers behind he throne made him return to take over ( probably by threatening to kill most of his family and relatives in Syria) He's a puppet of the few hundred who run the country..they needed the "Assad" name for continuity..
Since obama and Hilalry have invested so much i Egypt and Syria, maybe they'll call for the rebirth of the UAR

Waste of time!!! Obama should be forced to step down!!! That useless excuse for a human being, POTUS Obama has stood by while thousands of innocent Syrians have been slaughtered by his and Hillary Clinton’s soul brother, Assad!!!

“Assad is backed into a corner.”
What corner would that be?
I didn’t hear any “or else” behind the ‘time to step down’ statement.

Bashar al Assad is not his Daddy’s kind of Stalinist, but his brother is in charge of the Syrian military, and as long as the Army is fanatically devoted to House Assad, and they most certainly are, Bashar is invulnerable.
Assad is going nowhere anytime soon, and especially not at the direction of Premier Hussein. Hafez al Assad was a very devoted Stalinist, and enjoyed the support of the former Soviet Union for decades. They armed him with just about everything they had in their arsenal, and as a result the Syrian Army is well equipped to put down any kind of internal resistance as their performance over the last five months has proven.
This statement from Hussein is meaningless. The US is in no position to do anything about removing him. NATO is six months into their efforts to remove Kadaffy, and making no progress toward removing him either.
An interesting question is: Where is Code Pinko, and their bloody hands thrust into Hillary Clinton’s face, the same way they did to Condi Rice??
