Beaten by a girl!
Why is he even running? He barely beat McCotter for pete’s sake! And I LIKE McCotter!
That’s the kind of thinking that booted out Fred Thompson and we got stuck with Mccain...
Though I never believed that Pawlenty was the demon some portrayed him to be here on FR, this is a good thing.
Santorum?? Why???
if like you say this will be a repeat of 2008, I fear more people than last time will not vote and we get 4 more years of Obama. This time, we need conservative candidates and not watered down RINOS like McCain
Say what you will about McCain, that guy got in the race early and campaigned non-stop, even when he was pulling less than a percent. Fred Thompson waited too long to get in, and was not as relentless.
Huntsman, harumph. Another snoozer.
I want somebody who is interesting and exciting, got that old fire in the belly. Some people don’t like Perry, and he has some warts, but I’d vote for him in a heartbeat. I mean, Perry/Bachmann would be my dream ticket at this point.
Uh, the $35 is for a vehicle 10 years or older!
Here is a link to the MN chart. The license fee is basically about 1.3 of the vehicles value PLUS other miscellaneous fees.
https://dps.mn.gov/divisions/dvs/forms-documents/Documents/TaxManual.pdf
I am looking at my purchase documents right now. The 2010 Chevrolet Crew Cab was $445 plus some misc other fees in 2010 when we bought it new. The renewal in 2011 was $360.
The 2011 Cruze we just bought was $379 plus misc other fees.
Our “famed” former Governor, Jesse Ventura, years back went after MN car license fees with a passion and got them cut about in half. As soon as he was out, the Democrats raised them again.
I know a well off guy who just bought a $160,000 Ford GT. He is a Florida resident living in MN for 5 months out of the year. For fun he called MN and ask them how much to license that $150,000 car for a year in MN - the answer was $2,700. It cost him $500 to license it in Florida for a year.....
wrong... the media propped up McCain as they decided who they wanted to be the RNC front runner based on who they could beat with either Obama or Hilary. They saw Thompson as a threat and with his name recognition and his no holds barred type of demeanor, they knew he was their biggest threat, therefore label him as a loser that has no fire in his belly BS. They would and will do this to Palin if she gets it at this late date...
I expect that MN wishes now he was still governor. The one they have now sucks sewer water.
Depends on how drunk he is, sometimes he is in the sewer and it drains right in to him.
I’d take Emmer over Tpaw or the drunk however.
If you haven’t seen Palin’s interview with Hannity from Friday night, I suggest you do so. It would be very difficult for the LSM to make the “no fire in the belly” charge stick.
One down, many more to go.......
He tried desperately to “play the aggressor” lately, but it just is not him.
So, tell me, what will it cost to re-register a 10 year old Hyundai Accent?
I do not doubt her ideological commitment, and appreciate her prolife/profamily records. But she failed miserably, IMO, by misrepresenting TP. A better response would have been to smile and say “aw now Tim we use to be friends” and go forward stating her own accomplishments.
That said.
The media lies, but they are not all-powerful. McCain campaigned non-stop. Even when he was out of money, he'd fly himself coach. I never cared for McCain, but I'll give him credit. He worked his ass off for the nomination.
Thompson's 'bad rap' as a lazy campaigner was largely deserved. He took too long to get in, and he simply didn't campaign as hard as the other guys. The media may have exaggerated it, but that's the kind of story that's easy to defeat if it's not true.
or Huckleberry. He never stood a chance :-)
