The "scientists" on the forefront of the global warming movement got caught faking their analysis and "lost" their raw data, so they're going to sit for awhile, then come back with new "evidence".

Or in other words, our predictions 10 years ago didn't pan out so we have to make a new "prediction" to explain the last 10 years and somehow make our original prediction plausibly tie back in at some point down the road...
