The way Perry has abused Texans with illegal immigration/open borders is what I fear for our country in his election. He does act like he represents the interests of Mexico and Mexicans. He would go for amnesty in a Texas second (that would be about a day in NY time.)

I think we have had enough of internationalist politicans who fancy themselves as the President of the world, supporting the interests of foreigners and ignoring the law, needs and interests of America. They have shipped our jobs overseas and have crippled the country with socialism. They are throwing our troops to the wolves with political correctness. They use our money to sell us out in foreign policy and bailouts. They are internationalists and are ultimately, treasonous to the constitution and careless with America.

Perry is a real risk in this way as is Palin as evidenced by her double sell out to the biggest Rino backstabber in the Senate - McLame. The only one I see as safe for the interests of the US and the constitution is Bauchmann.

“Governor speaks to La Raza”

Should have mentioned that too, thanks much.

“So in other words Perry doesn’t see the need to stick his nose into another state’s business? “

Considering that the courts are ONE DECISION away from IMPOSING gay marriage on Texas, I’d prefer that he would “stick his nose” into their business.

If conservatives ride him like an old mule, he will stop his nasty inclinations...like Bush. But we would have to constantly be against his Rino inclinations.

He will always be an internationalist more concerned about foreign interests and people than US interests and the American people. He is like the President of Mexico stationed in Texas. As US president, he will be president of the world stationed in the US.

Hey patriot08, maybe you could answer a question for me. It took me 15 or 20 minutes to read the post by BobL. I think that was his handle. In some cases I still don't have a clue as to the fact or fiction of what he stated. However, you, in +/- five (5) minutes were able to read, respond and have reference material ready to post. If that's not the sign of a phoney, nothing is. You slide over the most important issues raised by BobL. In short, to me, his issues are important and do deserve some scrutiny to distinguish the facts. Your response is a certain tip off to me that you are a Perry Plant with the ready made reply to articles and posting such as BobL. As far as I'm concerned, and I am concerned, you've just tarnished my opinion of Perry, for the time being.

I’m just sick of this guy posing as a conservative while being for open-borders

He's not for open borders and you know it. He outright stated that to La Raza...to their face: "Until America secures the border, a rational debate on immigration policy is not going to happen." (El Paso Times, July 10, 2010)

You are disengenuous and bitter, and it delights me to know your choice for president in 2012 will be between Rick Perry and Barack Hussein Obama.

“His advocacy for states rights does not subtract from his obvious enthusiasm for homosexual marriage in NY as clearly demonstrated above.

But you may spin on if you wish.”

Not me, I got just the message he meant by that statement.

Unrelated? The fact that the man spoke at such a racist organization as La Raza at all speaks volumes! And what he said there clearly shows he has no intention of securing our border. How does that not relate?

Maybe you are if with someone who say things like:

“The message is simple: educacion es el futuro, y si se puede.”

But don’t expect anyone else to be. I am tried of people who want to put the burden of paying for illegals on the backs of the American taxpayer. And that appears to be what you and Rick Perry want.

“You might want to include his judicial appointments which are not reassuring as an indicator of the kind of judge he would put on the Supreme Court.”

Give me some links please, I promise to use them next posting.

“As a resident of Texas for nearly four decades and a close observer of Gov. Perry, I thought my knowledge of the man was complete, but I learned many new facts from your efforts. Both of you did a great job!”

Thanks, we’re on different sides, but we both try to support what we say. Having lived in California, I do have the say that the local and state media SUCKS when reporting on state politics. You really have to dig deep to figure out what’s really going on.

P8, can you explain the links in Kartographer’s post concerning La Raza please? I think a lot of us are uneasy about the gov’s position being so similar to W’s.

There is a wealth of mischaracterizations and outright lies for people to consider...

Too bad she joined her best friend Senator McLame to support Algore’s carbon tax and trade agenda. She also has a low regard for free speech when she considers it “hate.”

Palin and Perry are pretty much the same political animal.

There are TWO ASPECTS to the open borders debate. The first is to secure the border, and yes, Perry has done some (mostly) symbolic moves and paid lip service there. The second aspect is to make YOUR STATE unfriendly towards those same illegals...he hasn’t done jack there and YOU know it.

I met Senator Gore one on one back in 1992 when he was still sane.

That man was a totally different person than this algore thing that he has become since then.

That’s alright to sound Texan. Palin sounds like she’s got nasal problems.

Do not attempt to speak for me and what I “want.” You wouldn’t have any means to know what I want. Stick to what you know for a fact, if anything.

I’m with Bob. He even provided links to his well thought-out writing.

The Bushes were supposed to be great guys who were electable. Both were horrible from a conservative pov.

At least with Zero in the White House, the conservative base is energized and the country is getting an education about what the word “progressive” means.

A RINO is a RINO is a RINO. No thank you for Mr. Perry.

Too much hi-octane coffee for PDS (Perry Derangement Syndrome) coyotes is as bad as booze and war-whoops.

Library of Congress posts/rants are not your or ronpaul’s friend.

All your retread distortions are OLD NEWS. Quoting a Texas newspaper is same as NYT. Why take up lib tactics?
