There are a lot of fiscal conservative democrats and independent in the tea party movement. This vote takes the election. Reagan Bachman are former democrats. Yet there is a fringe ping list that post on this forum in attack of all those but Palin that think the tea party is arrogantly theirs.

Yeah I think the number of lib’ruls in this poll is underestimated. A lot of folks now would never admit to being lib’ruls since it has been apparent for some time now that their policies don’t work. I’ll bet a lot of these people are suddenly “centrists” or independents who won’t admit their leftist ideology...

I disagree. Conservatives aren't too lazy to vote, they vote absentee, the military votes, the are very much engaged. It has been difficult, however, to overcome the tsunami of Liberal/commie voter fraud. We could all vote, but they would come up with more people than even EXIST and win. Who will challenge them? The RINOS are either too chicken to deal, or they are paid off.

But I wish the “tea party’ would change their name, because they are not a political party. The media is perpetuating the notion that they are some wild, crazy bunch of wierdos, when in fact they are perfectly normal, hard working people.

You do have a point there, and adding or substituting the word "patriot" would be spun to appear to mean ready for armed insurrection.
