Go to the website and read the explanation. If a department cannot cut, other departments must make up the difference. ... As an example, closing the dept of education would yield a lot of percentage points to programs which would be slowly increasing.
i wish Boehner would go ahead and pass this too. That would give Reid THREE ways to get his increase...
but until Reid debates, the House will stand firm and kill anything.

I’m not panning it, I’m just pointing out that the country is not ready for it. I DEFINITELY agree that if the feds got out of food stamps, education, heating oil assistance, etc...and got rid of the Earned Income Credit, that a lot of the percentage points could be lopped off...at the beginning at least (in the out years entitlements still have to be hit hard).
But Republicans aren’t even close to proposing any of that...they are, rightfully, SCARED TO DEATH to take on the education establishment, or the agriculture lobby, for example...and the country simply isn’t ready either.
i dunno why Graves of GA isn’t listed as a signer... but i just called him - had to l/m

Actually, the father would fight back against the people taking his money at gunpoint and giving it away to other families before getting a second job.
RATS want economic chaos, they benefit from it. To hell with their country.
