You say the Rats & Obama have the power, so we must deal. Well, let them propose & see what passes. Without real spending cuts, we will let the debt limit do the job Congress refuses to do.”

“This is what my constituents expect of me. They do not expect me to make empty deals with spendthrift Rats. They will rightly vote me out if I violate this trust.”

See, Mr. Boehner, many have only been in WDC 7 months, yet you would have them commit political suicide to satisfy your desire to maintain power.
