I thought it was “prefident*” obama.

Nice way of pointing out he's an arrogant, know-it-all, poophead.

Ah yes, my THIRE FAVORITE outer space tv show. Back when Lord Grade was still Ser Lew Grade and before his RAISE THE TITANIC fiasco.

I never could understand the purple hair as the girls didn’t wear wigs or makeup when off duty.

For general and si-fi I preffered TWILIGHT ZONE and OUTER LIMITS.

All of them beat cheapo Star Treck by a mile.

If you look close enough, it kinda looks like a line of telephone poles way back there

Close up of the very center:

That symbol the guy scratched out had me going - I thought it was the Cross of Lorraine and wondered what the French were doing there.

Probably either surrendering, mocking Americans, or demanding we get them out of some mess.

“the Orbiter was disposed of by commanding it to crashland on the lunar farside”

I hate liter bugs, really. Earth is turning into a pig’s sty as it is, do we need to fill space with our junk too?

Thanks KoRn! This is another “extra” ping to APoDers. It’ll probably show up soon anyway.

Kind of interesting that it looks like dawn lighting the horizon.

Not a conspiracy theorist but I did stay at a Holiday inn last night.

Somebody needs to do a book on the humor on this site. That comment was funny.

"I kinda thought it looked like Bakersfield way off in the distance..."

Reminded me of the Twilight Zone episode where the 3 National Guardsmen are out on training in their tank and find themselves back in 1876 at Little Big Horn as the Indians are preparing to attack General Custer. While they are deciding what to make of all of it and what to do, you can see a car cruising by off in the distance behind one of the actors.

the LROC have found what they believe is a tell-tale impact site just at the coordinates where the Orbiter should have come down.

In other words, they think they see splat marks but no debris.......Does that mean the Russians cleaned up the mess?

They always misspell "resident Obama".

Isn't it customarily anglicized with a z: Rezident Obama?
