So now Im aborting 50 million babies?
That was lame - I didn't say anything about you supporting abortion.
I was referring to Rick Perry setting aside his Christian and pro-life beliefs to support the pro-abortion Rudy Giuliani.
To: deport
No it isn’t. I didn’t bring him up. You did. I haven’t touted any candidate anywhere for 2012.
It’s nothing more than a crude red herring to take the focus off Rick Perry’s record as a politician who would endorse a pro-abort, pro-homosexual, anti-Second Amendment leftist like Giuliani.

(It's not really 'cut, cap and balance,' it's 'tinker, obfuscate, borrow and spend.')

I will follow the same logic.
We would be a damn sight better all around, including having a more secure border.
But we can go back even further.
I fought for Steve Forbes in a long ago primary election.
For many here on FR, he wasn’t pure enough either. And OH MY that clipped New England accent — couldn’t have that!
Wonder how things would be if he had been elected?

That was lame - I didn't say anything about you supporting abortion. You've been suggesting it on almost every thread -- usually as the last poster, after I've stopped posting for the night. It seems a pattern with you.
To: Cincinatus' Wife
I hope it is becoming apparent to conservatives reading these threads that Rick Perry represents a wing of the Republican Party that can try to claim conservative credentials for an uber-liberal New Yorker like Giuliani.
I just watched the Fox link you posted again. Frankly, Perry couldn’t even sell that lame old horse with a straight face.

Not really, but if you want to discuss it, then could you set aside your pro-life beliefs to support a pro-abortion candidate?
To: All
Here I’ve been arguing with 3 posters who refuse to name a candidate:
isthisnickcool,
af_vet_rr,
EternalVigilance
And then there’s Diogenesis,
who has it bad for Sarah Palin (so I give him room to be her shining knight and rag constantly on Gardasil and TTC). I do hope his trolling and his lists of LINKS aren’t too distracting.
To: af_vet_rr
No. I am not going to discuss this with you. I did try to be nice and converse with you in the past. However, after appearing to be friendly you fly off the handle and return to a script meant to twist and accuse.
So, NO. I will not.
To: af_vet_rr
Giuliani is still not a conservative. He was running for President of the United States. We criticize liberals for the support of abortion, gay marriage, and gun control, and yet Rick Perry was going on national TV and saying we should elect somebody who supported those very things to the White House. Yup.
If Rudy supporter Perry was a FR poster in 2007, he would have been zapped.
To: Cincinatus' Wife
Our party endorses candidates based on proven adherence to the core principles of this free republic, not based on something so trivial as a party label.
Rick Perry fails the test on several non-negotiable counts.
But we have no problem with real republicans.

Rudy Giuliani was not running for President of National Security, he was running for President of the United States. I thought the defense of this country was THE job of the Commander in Chief and the government of the United States.
Explain how this is not so.
To: EternalVigilance
So this “we” you speak of.
How many are in your party?
To: Cincinatus' Wife
We’re the third largest political party in America, based on voter registrations.

"And Rudy Giuliani IS VERY CONSERVATIVE ON NATIONAL SECURITY!!! And Rudy Giuliani was elected to be mayor of NYC and he cleaned it up. Now it's going to hell again."
Giuliani's not conservative on anything. If he was, he'd never have been elected dog-catcher in NYC. Being a poster-child for the authoritarian-totalitarian police state mentality might give him some street-cred with his fellow big 'R' RINO Republicrats, but not with limited-gov't big 'C' Conservatives. Obama's big on DHS/TSA spending too. One of his big donors makes the new airport scanners.
The tooth fairy's not real, and Perry's not the character he plays on TV during campaign season.
To: EternalVigilance
I expect that Rick Perry will get a lot of votes from your group.
To: Cincinatus' Wife
Not likely. We’re Reagan conservatives, not Giuliani Republicans.

The tooth fairy's not real, and Perry's not the character he plays on TV during campaign season. I dare say those people in organized crime and wall street who he's prosecuted, might disagree with you.
To: EternalVigilance
I’m not posting threads on Giuliani.
And do you speak for the entire Independent Party?
This is THE Independent Party that is well known, right?
I didn’t know it was called the American Independent Party.
Why isn’t the full name used?
