Scary thought, but makes sense: killing 2 birds with one stone. Political points scored against gun rights, leading to registration, control and maybe even confiscation of guns in the Southern U.S. PLUS preparation of an armed invasion for communist / Shariah-law takeover of the United States.
I know what this sounds like. I know how ~crazy~ this sounds!! But the fact of the matter is, we have an administration recognizing the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt. They are an "off-shoot" of Hamas, but that is an over-simplification. Okay, if you read that article, then that is STARTING to sound like maybe our radical support of a "communist / Muslim invading force" is not so crazy. Here is the rest of the story:
In 2009, a flatbed truck brought more than 15 boxes of evidence into a Texas courtroom, and the indictment took more than an hour to read. This case resulted in 108 convictions of five executives of the Holy Land Foundation, for funneling money to HAMAS, known terrorist organization. Then the Uncle Sam dropped prosecution of CAIR, and many other "named but unindicted co-conspirators" in the case.
A source in the DOJ says: “This was a political decision from the get-go. It was always the plan to initially go after the [Holy Land Foundation] leaders first and then go after the rest of the accomplices in a second round of prosecutions. From a purely legal point of view, the case was solid. ...There’s a mountain of evidence against all of these groups that was never introduced during the Holy Land trial and it is damning. We’ve got them on wiretaps.
"It’s kind of hard to prosecute someone on material support for terrorism when you have pictures of them getting handed awards from DOJ and FBI leaders for their supposed counter-terror efforts. How would Holder explain that when we’re carting off these prominent Islamic leaders in handcuffs for their role in a terror finance conspiracy we’ve been investigating for years? This is how bad the problem is. Why are we continuing to have anything to do with these groups knowing what we know?"
The un-named source says: "This is a national security issue. We know that these Muslim leaders and groups are continuing to raise money for Hamas and other terrorist organizations. Ten years ago we shut down the Holy Land Foundation. It was the right thing to do. Then the money started going to KindHearts. We shut them down too. Now the money is going through groups like Islamic Relief and Viva Palestina. Until we act decisively to cut off the financial pipeline to these terrorist groups by putting more of these people in prison, they are going to continue to raise money that will go into the hands of killers. And until Congress starts grilling the people inside DOJ and the FBI who are giving these groups cover, that is not going to change. My biggest fear is that Americans are going to die and it will be the very Muslim leaders we are working with who will be directly or indirectly responsible."
And: "To say things are different under Obama and Holder would be an understatement. Many of the people I work with at Justice now see CAIR not just as political allies, but ideological allies. They believe they are fighting the same revolution. It’s scary."

The real distinction, which would have to come out when/if Issa and Grassely get some people under oath and testifying, are the operational changes that went along with the beefed up resources and inclusion of more Fed agencies that occurred on 0bama's watch in the winter/spring of 2009. No, Nixon was not impeached. The House Judiciary Committee issued articles of impeachment, 3 articles IIRC, but the House did not vote on them. Nixon resigned like 9 or 12 days later, well before a vote could have commenced. The Senate only votes on whether to uphold the impeachment voted on by the the full House.

Yes, a lot like that. Take an existing program, inject more money into it and then change its operational parameters. Hide the flow of money. If it gets outed start changing the names again. I don’t think they will be able to continue with F&F though even if they change its name now.

PR VP position with the same employer just after he became a U.S. Senator. Shortly thereafter he got the same U.C. Hospitals Corp. a $1,200,000 earmark. When he and Moochelle left for D.C. as POTUS and 1st “Lady” U. C. Hospitals Corp. eliminated both positions. Bribery, anyone??
I’ve been thinking it’s only the tip of the iceberg too. The gun control strategy, which everyone is connecting the dots to logically, may be just a secondary goal. This seems too simplistic for such a dangerous, convoluted game like F&F. If they just wanted to have evidence that US guns were being used in Mexico, they already have that evidence to provide... the continual escalation of arms to Mexico is overkill.
I can only speculate what another goal might be.... maybe an armed Mexican takeover of some US areas, allowing more illegals/future democrat voters to invade? Whatever it is, it’s insidious.

The House votes articles of Impeachment, similiar to a local DA filing a criminal complaint.
THe Senate, overseen by the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, actually tries the offender to determine guilt, and subsequentially votes whether or not to remove the offender.
About the only thing I can tell for sure about this whole sordid mess, is that it was not intended to really trace guns.

The press has made more misstatements and plain old lazy arse mistakes on this story than is imaginable. They are worse than useless.
I'd rather just keeping shining a light on who he is and what he does, and hang him around Obama’s neck as another albatross that shows just how corrupt and radical this administration is.
Nixon was NOT impeached. He resigned.
Nixon resigned BEFORE he could be impeached, Clinton did not resign after he was impeached. Holder and Obama will not resign if they are impeached, either.
Vince Foster died. Many people died at Waco. Who was held accountable for that?
