I rather doubt the BATF alone would come up with and execute a scheme obviously designed to attack the Second Amendment.
Given the stakes, the DOJ had to be involved. And the plan had to be initiated -- or, at least, approved -- by the White House.
Issa and Grassley are taking flak because they're approaching the target.
It’s not as if this guy is innocent. The ATF was in this up to its eyebrows. Numerous agents were involved, at the demand of their superiors.
But there’s no question that Obama and Holder instigated this, and that Holder made it clear that the ATF would do this, OR ELSE.
They’re not trying to get rid of this guy because he is corrupt. They’re trying to get rid of him because he has shown himself willing to rat on his superiors.
And let’s not forget that Hillary played a major role in this business, too, speaking to the press and repeatedly saying that Mexican gun violence was the fault of American gun dealers.
While swearing they’re both pure as nuns,
