They were saying little chance of mistrial because Casey has two well seasoned attorneys in addition to Baez. Mason and Simms.
I looked up how to make chloroform and you can use basic household ingredients, ice, water and shock powder(what they use in POOLS)...It also said where a mask as it is highly effective and cause sleepiness, coma, death if overexposed to fumes. I wonder if Cindy’s dogs were exposed when Casey was mixing up the formula....Cindy mentioned her dogs were tired all the time...
if Casey had been smart she would of faked a robberty and taken the computer....
I'm hoping that there is no mistrial, but the Baez opening argument was very poor. Did those other attorneys come in later? It seems that it was only Baez in the beginning.
That’s interesting. I only heard half that testimony. Of course it would be hearsay, but I think you’re right, the co-workers probably heard quite a bit.
If she is guilty of perjury, then she needs some jail time.I know that she’s in a difficult position, but that’s her granddaughter that’s dead.
My brother was always hostile to my boyfriends and he never touched me. Some guys are just hostile! That being said, I did find Lee’s waterworks a bit much. Even if he did touch her that’s no excuse for a horrible murder. And, remember, Casey is a pathological liar. Let’s face it: the whole family is looney tunes.
The boss gave some interesting testimony (although she was a little too smiley for my taste). She had to send Cindy home after she returned to work upon finding the car. The office was in complete chaos and I would imagine it was Cindy-drama all over the place. Not that I blame her; if I found my daughter’s car with “the smell of death” all over it, I’d be pretty crazy, too.
Of course, wouldn't it be up to the state to charge her? They may not want to do that, even though she showed tremendous disrespect to and abuse of the legal system, and broke the law.
It's been said a lot, but the apple doesn't fall far from the tree in this case.
I wasn’t able to watch the trial during this testimony, but I seriously hope the defense was smart enough to do thorough investigation into the accuracy of such records. There are LOTS of holes that can be shot into such records in most companies, even health care companies.
I mentioned the sort of records used to an IT security friend. He laughed and replied that no one ever uses that type of data in court because there are so many ways in which they can be shown to be unreliable.
I had to laugh when the State finished its rebuttal regarding her perjury and went on to another subject (or rested, I forget which), I could hear the Judge pipe up: “Are you bringing back Mrs. Cindy Anthony?” It seemed pretty obvious he wanted her up there! But - I think - wisely - the State declined. Who wanted more of her lies that would take more time to explore and expose? What a tiresome woman. Watching Casey’s pouting face (she looked more like a monkey than ever) as the computer experts testified was hilarious.
I was voir/der spelling is wrong.....on a workmans comp case in federal court in detroit.. Being a nurse the judge asked me if evidence was put forth that you knew to be incorrect, could you ignore what you know and only judge on the evidence put forth in the court....he was smiling when he asked and I smiled back and just shrugged my shoulders...I didn’t answer directly....he excused me from the panel...later talked with one of the jurors in the case, (it only lasted a couple of days and we met in the large jury pool room) Medical lies were told based on what she said, but no one on the jury was aware of it...jury of your peers means no one knows anything...
IMO the woman in MA suddenly tracking Nancy Grace down to claim she’s Caylee’s long lost grandma is just another grifter. According to her, her son told her during Casey’s pregnancy with Caylee that he knocked up a Florida woman named Casey and they were having a baby girl. The son died in a car accident October 27, 2007.
Caylee was born August 9, 2005. She was first reported “missing” on July 16, 2008. From there it has been in the news EVERY day. So where was alleged granny all this time? Does she live under a rock and she heard nothing about Casey Anthony and the murder of Caylee? I think she’s looking for $$$.
The first reason I know Caylee’s father is not dead is that Casey Anthony said he was.
The second reason I know Caylee’s father is not dead is that Cindy Anthony said that he was. Last night Greta reran her old interview with Cindy where Cindy told her all about the “dead” daddy. Cindy stuttered, mumbled, back tracked in the story and said way more than she should have if the story were true.
The third reason I know Caylee’s father is not dead is that if he had been dead Caylee would have been eligible for his Social Security benefits which could amount to as much as $600 to $700 a month. Casey was always stealing money because she had none and in the line of work Cindy was in (nursing old folks) she had to know about Social Security survivor benefits. George was out of work. Casey ran up all of Cindy’s credit cards to their limits and then some. Certainly if they could have gotten that influx of cash from Social Security they would have taken it.
There IS a computer tech on the Casey Anthony jury.
I don’t think George ever especially believed in Casey. He said the first time he was questioned that her car smelled like a decomposing body. He only changed his tune (for a time) when Cindy got out her whip and put him back in his place.
George wanted to go out and hunt down Casey and Caylee during the 31 “missing” days and Cindy told him to leave Casey alone...that Cindy would handle Casey.
According to PI Leonard Padilla when he was in the house, George shoved Casey against the wall and demanded she tell him where Caylee was. Casey ordered him out of the house (yes) and Cindy backed her up.
George filed for divorce from Cindy on December 20, 2005 which was about 4 or 5 months after Caylee was born which makes me wonder.
I heard that when Casey was younger Cindy would always admonish George not to get “negative” with Casey all of the time.
No, I don’t think it was George who was deaf, dumb, and blind to who and what Casey was and what she might do. And it was Caylee he really loved so much...so much so that he contemplated suicide because he felt he hadn’t protected Caylee from her murderer.
I guarantee that at that point I would make Vesuvius look like a little firecracker.

About her job at Universal, Casey is a high school dropout without a GED. She claimed to be an Event Planner at Universal. Why in the world would they hire a dropout for a job like that—a dropout without any other job experience much less even a little clerical experience? They wouldn’t.
Most likely she worked in a food stand or a souvenir shop and heard about the Event Planner jobs. Maybe she wore some furry animal costume and walked the Universal grounds all day. Or she never worked there at all. Nobody from Universal has ever come forward to say they remember working with her.
I’m reading more of your posts and I think you are on to something.
