Yes, when the liberal facade cracks, those who are freed are able to see so clearly. And since they’ve been on the other side, they understand that mentality as well.

Convert here — Al Gore disgusted me, I had to vote Republican. (It shook me to the core).Tea Partier now and I will never look back.

Boy, when Liberals come over to the Conservative side, they come all the WAY over.

I always loved David Mamet's dialogue writing, even when he was a Liberal.

Didn't he write the dialogue for Sean Connery's, "The Untouchables"? That scene where Kevin Costner confronts the man trying to bribe him has to be one of the greatest dialogue exchanges in cinema history IMHO.

That’s his opinion of Marilyn. She was excellent in “Some Like It Hot.” I’ll take Mae West.

I never saw that movie. She was funny in a small role in Monkey Business. But she's no Carole Lombard, Rosalind Russell, Barbara Stanwyck, Myrna Loy, etc.

I also note the feministas' admiration for Islam and Muslims as the tragic victims of the West, especially evil America and Capitolism.

Personally, I'd love to send them all to Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, or one of the wonderful, extremist practicing countries so they could find out how "true feminism" is appreciated (clitoridectomys, burkas, rape, servitude, squalor and toss in regular beatings just to add to the experience.)

Marilyn herself denied having an affair with either brother, calling them “boys.” The point of Mamet’s chapter on Marilyn and feminism, is Steinem’s stupid, philistine remarks about one of American film’s greatest beauties and comediennes. Steinem has written so poorly on Marilyn - and shown such a lack of appreciation for the art of acting and filmmaking - that it should have disqualified her from ever writing about the arts - or Marilyn.
