“I have never fully agreed with any President or Presidential contender. That said, if we continue to look for perfection, we will end up with the one for another four years. We need to look at the positive things the candidates have done instead of always the negative. Not for or against Perry at the moment.”
I disagree. We need to know where they have stood in the past—good or bad—simply because it may reflect where they go in the future. Perry is a candidate who as Texas Governor hasn’t exhibited a reflexive principle beyond getting elected to ever higher office. I don’t foresee him being a bad candidate if he runs, but I don’t trust him to be a good President.

Not only didnt we get Vermont-style carry; we didnt even get open carry. A bill that would have brought Texas into line with 44 other states (that currently allow concealed carry) never got a vote. And Perry has yet to sign the employee protection act, or whatever theyre calling it, that would prevent an employer from firing somebody for leaving a gun in his or her car. It looks like maybe hes decided that all of the pro-gun stuff wont play quite as well on the national stage as it does here in Texas.Worth repeating, as Gov. Goodhair has a lot more influence over the legislooters during special sessions.
Most folks don't realise how restrictive the laws are regarding handguns in Tx. They are much more restrictive than the common perception.

Gov. Goodhair (that name is starting to grow on me) just added sanctuary cities and "driver license security" (not quite sure what that means) to the agenda. I'm hopeful that this means he's about to add the TSA anti-groping bill and the campus carry bill, but I'm a little worried that he may be hoping to placate his conservative base (and get us to forget about the kids being molested by federal airport agents and the students dying in classroom massacres) by throwing us some sort of watered-down, symbolic immigration bill. We'll see.
At least I now have a little hope. He may win me over yet.

No it is a valid warning that Perry is a POS. Don’t be fooled by this phony. He is bought by the world elite.
