Sorry about your ex-wife ... or maybe your current one?
I have heard that if these polls are adjusted to show the voting patterns of married versus unmarried women, they look a lot different. Married females tend to vote for Republicans, unmarried and depending on the State, tend to vote Dem.
She’s the ex. I’m better off, but our 6 yr old son is paying for her selfishness. I will probably never get married again given that the US legal system is set up to crush men financially.
War between the sexes goin’ on in here!
Not this woman, and not the women on our local Republican Committee (led by a very capable mother). I assure you, we're not going over to the dark side any time soon.
There are some good points made here that can help us to appeal to women who may be uncertain. It's a good time to reach out to the stressed out moms among us and make a case for long-term stability through fiscal sanity.
that hurts ... about your son.
I wasn't. I was merely stating the facts. 56 percent of women voted for Obama compared with 49 percent of men. This was up from 51% who voted for Kerry. This 7-point gender gap combined with women's greater turnout was a major factor in the election's result.
I know many women who detest him also. But that doesn't mean the majority do not.
