They are saying that this was not a "no knock" raid. If the people inside have no reasonable chance to respond, what is the difference? The couple of seconds of a siren sounding outside? It isn't as if sirens are not common in an urban area.
Oh, and I did not see any obvious markings on the officers to show that they are police. They looked like combat troops.
If they had evidence the Marine was guilty in ANY suspected crime, they would have presented that by now.

I’d normally say I’d like to be on a jury that decided these thugs’ fate, and if it ever got to a jury there might be enough people who weren’t jackboot lickers in the jury pool that these thugs might be in for a little surprise that they didn’t like. BUT, it will never make it that far. They will never be prosecuted. The government that enables them to act like Khmer Rouge protects them from the conseequencs of their actions. Until the individual police are held accountable for tehir actions, this sort of outrage will continue
The SWAT swept into my neighborhood twice in Sarasota and took children away. The school had told these pre-teens that “if you’re abused, call this number.” Well, what kid who isn’t getting his way and has been given a magic number to call to even things out isn’t abused? But SWAT? It was terrifying. And, to get the kids back the parents have to admit to abuse and pay for counseling. Trust me, I knew the families, there was no abuse.
Why is it necessary to use SWAT at all? You want to arrest this ex-Marine? Nab him as he leaves work. Why not use intelligence rather than paramilitary force? We use it because ever Sheriff and local police has one and THEY”RE DYING to play SWAT. Citizens be damned. Logic and intelligence; no place here.
Here’s another issue; SWAT begs a violent response. Nobody who views himself as a man is going to let somebody crash through his door without attempting to respond. Our entire cultureization leads to a defined response. Meet aggression with aggression. Meeting aggression with submission is, well, liberal.
BTW, Mexican gangs are now dressed like and acting like SWAT teams. The break into homes in AZ and kill the occupants. I’ve seen several stories on this, but the new media hasn’t played it up.
The siren heard is not unlike what one often hears (and ignores) when a car alarm goes off and is noticeable but for a very "Few" seconds and NOT what the despicable, LYING, bottom-feeding, ambulance chaser has suggested, that the GESTAPO, arrived with sirens blaring and lights flashing.
Likewise, I also picked up the fact that there was little time between the knock on the door and the takedown thereof.
Also obvious is that the TRIGGER HAPPY GOONS, opened fired almost immediately/simultaneously, with sticking their head inside the door.
NO EXCUSE for this kind of COWBOY response.
All the 1st one to see the suspect holding a rifle had to do, was duck back out of the line of fire and order him to drop his weapon.
As someone else pointed out in another thread, all these clueless, moronic, wannabes had to do, was pick the suspect up at work as he was getting done his 12 hour shift, earlier in the morning, then execute the search.
But then, these "boys" would not have gotten to play with their "toys."
I hope to God this never happens to me, but if it should, I can GUARANTEE, I won't be the only one who gets carried out!!!

Retribution by some family member for EXECUTING a loved one?
All other law enforcement personnel don't hide behind masks, so why do these goons do so?
On second thought, based upon their reported and repeated conduct throughout the country, they probably feel the need to do so, less anyone seek them out after the fact and decide to exact some form of personal justice.

Another fact that is rarely mentioned in the MSM is that Guerena’s family (sibling, I think) had been the victim of a non-government sanctioned home invasion about a year ago. Think that might have been a factor in his mindset?
