VERY well put!

Not me. If he can take it, then so shall I. I'm fighting until the gritty, bloody, glorious end.
Regardless, the world has had its run, it’s long past the time to close down the circus.
Mr. Camping is not blasphemous nor is he an evil man. He is, in my opinion, foolish to make such date prognostications, but he is sincere and most of his teachings (apart from the church and the end times) are sound. Family Stations, Inc. has brought the Gospel to countless millions and does good work. I am sad, in that sense, to see Mr. Camping doing this.
I share the skepticism about the May 21 date, but I would warn everyone to be very cautious about scoffing in light of what the Bible has to say on it. In doing so, you are denigrating a sincere and god-fearing man.
For all: Don't you want Christ to return? Isn't that a joyous thing? Are you ready for Christ to return?
We don't really know if he believes what he is saying. He may have started this whole thing for money and attention and has his excuses already written when the rapture doesn't come. The guy has already been wrong once before (1994) but left himself more of an out last time.
Camping sounds like any other con artist. Eventually their lies catch up to them and very often they know it's coming.
Well, he seems to have studied the bible pretty intensely and backs up his claims. The Bible isn’t exactly clear as day about many things. In fact, there are many different takes on Christianity all with different takes on the end of the world among many other things. Which one to believe? Who is going to hell and who is not? Like I said maybe Camping will get lucky and we will all find out on Saturday.
My scientist uncle at Harvard studied Camping’s calculation using a supercomputer there, and tells me that the man could very well be correct.
This whole theater production does only one thing: brings Bible prophesy into the forum to be lambasted by the Left. Of course, they don’t believe that any end-time prophesy will ever be fulfilled - they don’t even believe in any God or Jesus or the Bible - and so they mock Christians by saying that “they will get all our stuff” when we disappear, ignoring the fact that if we are raptured, they are in for hell on earth.
Camping is a false prophet and will be proven so after this weekend. But he has provided the fodder for the left to display their abject enmity toward the things of God. In this respect, I think Camping is being used as God’s instrument, to further make manifest the great divide between life and death.
From Matthew 24:
23 - At that time if anyone says to you, Look, here is the Messiah! or, There he is! do not believe it.
24 - For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.
25 - See, I have told you ahead of time.
26 - So if anyone tells you, There he is, out in the wilderness, do not go out; or, Here he is, in the inner rooms, do not believe it.
And from Matthew 12:30 - He who is not with me is against me, and he who does not gather with me scatters.
The Word makes it very clear what Christ thinks of those who attempt to pervert His teachings. Assuming that Mr. Camping actually reads the Bible, he knows that he should know better. Anyone who claims to be a Christian teacher but who then goes on to teach things which are not Christian is a blasphemer.
This blasphemer, along with those who enable him, is leading many people who clearly wish to be part of the elect astray, just as Scripture has taught. The non-Christians are milking this for all it is worth, and as a Christian, it is my own duty to do what I can to set them straight.
To sum it up, Camping is a coward. He wants the easy way out.
BS. Most of us are Christians and as such have a responsibility to call out date-setting charlatans like Camping.
Camping is a fraud. Any good work he's done is negated by all the damage he will do to the foolish people that believed this crap and arranged their lives around it. There are people that have squandered their savings, stopped pursing career opportunities, made buffoons of themselves peddling this 5-21 nonsense, etc.
Camping is no better than any other date-setting con man and does not deserve our sympathy. He should be aggressively and openly mocked. Doing so might just deter the next hack who gets it in his head to push this nonsense.
Indeed we do. Paul called out Peter in Galatians 2 because Peter was teaching things in an un-Christian manner. We Christians are under the same obligation.
I heard the radio announcer say that May 21 at 6PM eastern.
Well I would ...but I won’t be here. :O
Again, this doesn’t expose Camping as much as it exposes those who have complete enmity toward God. Just listen to the Godless left right now. I think it’s a part of the great separation that is proceeding at exponential speed right now, by God’s design.
Bill O’Riely studied at Harvard, and he’s a jackass.
