Bush ordered U.S. military troops into Iraq and Afganistan to target Bin Laden and destroy al-Qaeda’s network of sleeper cells. Obama voted against both of these wars as senator. Thus, if it had been up to Obama, there would never have been any military retaliation from the U.S. and Bin Laden would still be alive today.

I'm still amazed that narcissist America-hater Obama bothered to call the man responsible for the effort to rid the world of this evil man.

Personally I think he should have skipped the phone calls to Bush and Clinton and skipped having the White House contact various Congressional critters and just came out and announced it when they were certain, instead of getting everybody hyped up for a few hours before his speech.

Hell, when one of the final decisions was made on the 29th, I'm surprised he didn't start calling people then and saying "guess what what's going to happen sometime in the next few days."

I wonder if Nobama was upset that this didn't go down Saturday night when the ratings would have been much better, since people would be able to spend Sunday glued to the TV.

One amusing thing is the Alex Jones fans that think this was timed to coincide with Trump's show. If Obama had just come out and announced it when confirmation was received instead of calling up Bush and Clinton and others to gloat, Trump's show wouldn't have even aired, because I flipped around a lot last night and nobody was cutting back to the originally scheduled shows or even the local news, it was just nonstop coverage of the announcement. It should have been announced a few hours earlier, but Obama had to get his gloating in.

good call on this. that was the first thing i thought of as well/ well, it was that or announcing taking out iran’s nuclear facilities(but you don’t really announce something like that).

and this article in a UK paper says there’s video of the whole thing and that they were watching it live in the WH 24-style as it was going down. If so, I hope they release the video so the public can see it. After all that has happened, I think we deserve to see Bin Laden finished off.

My guess, corroborated by a localo radio reporter, is that too many reporters are verbally confusing Obama and Osama in their reports. The use of Usama reduces that from happening.

Let’s not forget that NONE of this would have even been necessary if Clinton would have got off his ass and given the order to take out Bin Laden after the Cole bombing. 3000+ families wouldn’t have lost someone who meant the world to them.
