I think many people forget about the Chicago gangster politics that helped get Obama elected as a Senator in Illinois. Playing with "sealed" records is part of their game.
Hillary Clinton is originally from Illinois and simply carpetbagged her way into the New York senate race. She has quite a bit of experience with political "recordkeeping".
