Yes, it is very odd. D. Trump has a better chance of winning than Granpa McCain. Nobody seriously believed McCain could win. He and Cindy were like aging Boris and Natasha. He did as well as he did only because of S. Palin.

I don’t think McCain wanted to win.

He just wanted to beat the other Republicans.

I said if.

But I do get the fact that you haven’t taken a stand on the issue of moral relativism. It’s the hardest test there is, and the true test of a man.

Well it seems obvious to me that there are freepers who are so heavily invested in birtherism that conservatism has become secondary.

They are willing to defend a guy whose conservative track record is nonexistent, and who has made it clear that he is willing to go third party if he has to.

But as long as he is the current cheerleader for their pet cause...nothing else seems to matter.

Obama's second term, here we come!

I would be surprised if Trump’s position on Sarah—his personal opinion, coming from the heart—is generally favorable.

But Trump can’t state this because the audience he’s targeted to sell his product is mostly Sarah Palin fans.

That sums it up.

In the person of Donald Trump is where birtherism and conservatism separate, and become opposed to each other!

You don't know me. I take a resolute stand on 'moral relativism'...I'm agin it.

I've gotta run til later. Thx for chatting.

Trump is a chump and anyone who gives him an ounce of credibility is just the kind of sucker that keeps him going. His philosophy is along the lines of P.T. Barnum. He is just amusing himself and further inflating the most enormous ego in the world.

The Donald is simply seeking out another challenge. That’s who he is.

Listen. I’m not sold on Trump either, but the GOP could learn from him.

I just wish for little disruptions while he’s on the document hunt, that’s all.

Fine...but why is it necessary to trash a solid constitutional conservative like Levin in the process?

...because Trump is the only one with the gonads to go after the BC issue, which should have been an issue for Levin.

all im going to say about Trump is at least he has the balls to stand up to Obama. Not a single republican candidate will stand up to him ever. If Bachmann or Palin run I will vote for either of them if not those two then I will vote Trump or nothing. I will not waste a vote on Mittens and company regardless if it helps Obama get elected or not. If we win the Senate then we at least stop Obama’s agenda cold and his ability to nominate progressive judges.

Why is it necessary for a solid constitutional conservative like Levin to act like Karl Rove?

What is Jim Robinson's position on Donald Trump? Is he a Conservative Patriot we should support here on FR?

For the record, Trump praised Palin lavishly.

But only half the time, if that much.

Remember, we’re talking about true Godless capitalists—not capitalists who think they’re operating as Godless while in fact they’re working within the God-fearing, traditional American system.

The first principle of the Godless capitalist is self promotion—it overrules any other principle.

The ideology of the Godless capitalist holds that the rights of others can be taken from them when the ends justify these means.
