I was wondering when someone would bring up Trump's run in 2000 on the Reform Party ticket... right on cue, here's Salon.
Though hardly a conservative source, what they have to say should be of deep concern to conservatives.

RINOs will overlook it because he is right on ONE issue...there us not a true conservative that backs Trump. He wanted universal healthcare, eminent domain, does not support 2nd amendment, failed marriages, bankruptcy

Heck in 12 years I have tripled my net worth, dropped my handicap from 22 to 10 and bought 4 new cars. 12 years is eternity in political time span.

RINOs will overlook it because he is right on ONE issue I think you should study the polls. While the very strict social issue conseratives are not supporters of Donald Trump. The majority of Republicans that are opposed to Donald Trump are those from the Romney/McCain wing of the party.
No pro-Amnesty republican would support Donald Trump.
On the other hand, Donald Trump has the support of the majority of Tea Party people and strict constitutionalists.

It's a push . However O is a nasty little man . Speaking of nasty little men , i saw Rove on Fox tonight . It was funny watching him going after the D man like he was Christine O'Donnell .
