In his book “Think Big and Kick Ass” he shows no love for Carter, and that was from before this quote even.

Opinion? Trump preferred Kerry to Bush. That’s really all you need to know. No possible rehabilitation. He is a glitzy liberal worse than McCain, Romney or anyone else running except Obama. Likely to run as an independent as he won’t get the Republican nomination. How much he siphons from each side depends on how many he fools and how his campaign evolves beyond the birther issue.

It would be enough to make any decent Democrat go Republican!

I think Obie has turned a lot of Dim's into Republicans.

The remark shows Trump can be as dumb and misled as anyone else when it comes to judging character and intentions. No doubt this is associated with his own view/wish for the USA and world as far as his own personal welfare is concerned. Notice he did not say Obama was a great person but that he might be. Many people ,including McCain, expressed the same thought and many did and still do believe it. The future will demonstrate if Trump has grown wiser as to the evils of people. To date he seems to be on the track to recovery.

Plenty of glitzy liberals want to eliminate the Department of Education, stand up to our enemies, and improve our strength and standing in the world.

*sarcasm tag not needed*

Riddle me this: Who else have we got?

If you don't like the message, attack the messenger.

Trump would have lots of explaining to do if he became a declared candidate. However, where was Drudge in 2008 to present on all the discrepancies, irregularities and lack of any documentation on this President's past? With the exception of Jeremiah Wright, nowhere.

It's really odd. The Drudge Report made it's name by reporting on Clinton's activities, when every other news organization was silent. It's ironic that this same website now seems to have forgotten where it came from.

With that being said, Trump's track record is not that of a Conservative. But, he's asking questions, fearless of the MSM, question that resonate with a large portion of our society.

Blah blah blah.

I just now, with my own eyes, watched Trump live (insofar as a rerun of the earlier broadcast today is live) on Sean Hannity say as clearly as is possible - that Obama has been the WORST president ever.

Couldn’t have been more clear.

LOL!!! This is why the Republicans are going to lose come election time. They get all worked up in a hizzy and go shooting all their ammo off in the wrong directions before the fighting has even started.

You do realize that Drudge, with this two year old story, has now vetted Trump, an undeclared candidate, more thoroughly than most of the media has ever vetted Obama.

who else have we got besides whom? Donald Trump? Well if Palin doesn’t run then each person would have to determine who is the lesser of evils amongst Daniels, Pawlenty, Huck, Newt and Romney. And then if they all drop out and Trump is running as a Republican and last one running I guess he might be preferable to Obama, but that’s about it.

I don’t have a candidate right now and still hoping Palin decides to run. However I have said since the beginning I do not think she will run. I hope I am proved wrong.

“I think he has a chance to go down as a great president. Now, if he’s not a great president, this country is in serious trouble,” said Trump.

When you look at that comment...it seems Trump is pretty consistent. He saw that Obama is NOT a great president, and now we ARE in trouble

That’s the money shot.

I’ve noticed you seem to spend a lot of your efforts criticizing various GOP hopefuls.

Would you please be so kind as to present some examples of those you do think are “our team”?

Thank you in advance.

Time to punish and slam Trump. He had the temerity to say that the Emperor is not wearing any clothes. Off with his head.

As far as I can see, if you look at Trump's conflicting past statements as noted in the article coupled with his political contributions in the last couple election cycles to people like Harry Reid and Rahm Emanuel (only a few months ago) and you get the accurate picture of a man that shoots from the hip while always hedging his bets.

I am not saying he isn't pointing out some truths by asking the hard questions but when you simply mouth off that Bush was "evil" for the slimmest of reasons when Obama had just won the election and you get that familiar feeling of listening to an opportunist. And although he backtracked his statement about running as an Independent (which unquestionably would help Obama immensely as a Perot factor) he simply is to much of a loose cannon for me to even consider and I believe many others agree.

Just imagine him somehow winning the GOP nomination and the pro-Obama media slowly pushing past statements, questionable business deals, etc. in a slow drip to kill his candidacy and thus any hopes of ousting Obama. And that's before he creates new soundbites that would let the pro-Obama media torpedo him.

I don't want any part of that and will have no problem if he limits his civic duty by pushing Obama on the BC, Rezko and any other dirt that others let slide for "viability." And if anyone still wants to support him then is is best that their candidate should have his dirty laundry aired out now.

I think Obie has turned a lot of Dim's into Republicans.

Trump changed his affiliation to Republican in 2009, less than one year into Obama's reign. He initally endorsed Hillary over Obama ..... Then he endorsed McCain (as a Dem) over Obama. Doesn't look like he ever had much for Obama himself.
