Oh, puh-leeze!
I’m going to repeat here what I wrote for another thread:
***********************************************************
There are an enormous number of people whove changed their minds politically in the past year, and some whove realized that what they used to think was important, in light of the threat to our sovereignty by Obama/Soros, have done a 180 in their lives and beliefs.
Trump makes a living off of the discretionary spending of the general public. Make no bones about it; he cannot support his business empire just by catering to the rich. Trump needs the middle-class to patronize casinos and spend money. If the middle-class is squeezed dry, Trumps businesses go bust.
Donald Trump has supported both Dem and Rep political partys candidates in the past. Democrats dominate the politics in New York and New Jersey, so its no surprise that the Dem party received the most money from The Donald. Thats business.
Now it is a matter of his survival. I suspect he has taken stock of who he is and what he values. Donald Trump is no socialist and income redistribution aint one of his values.
Being a good Reagan Republican, I will trust but verify. Keeping an eye on Donald and agreeing with much of what he says doesnt equal my vote for him as President - yet. Looking around at the other probable candidates, however, isnt encouraging for this conservative. Im keeping my options open.
**********************************************************
This is meant to indicate that a great many people have had an epiphany, a ‘wake-up call’, that our nation is in really deep trouble. Trump, I suspect, is facing ruin the longer the Socialists/Progressives are calling the shots.
It would be enough to make any decent Democrat go Republican!

OK, when Turnip, errrr Trump, first started making noise I liked him because he seemed tough and wouldn't take any carp. Now, the more I hear about and from him ... HE'S FIRED as any potential candidate for me. Go take a long dive off a short Jersey pier, Donald.

Oh..you mean the same BS he’s been asked on CNN and the like?
What’s Levin going to come up with that’s new to the anti-birther movement? Nothing.

I watched the entire interview where Trump 1st said those things and this leftist revisionist occupier in chief brown-noser has taken Trumps statements completely out of context. Sure, Trump bashed Bush and for ALL the right reasons & he did give the occupier a nod, but not for what the occupier in chief has done thus far, but as a gentleman gesture to maybe steer the occupier in the right direction for the good of the country & our soldiers. Trump was diplomatic & a statesman in his no bull way of communicating. He knows our days are numbered if we don't reverse course. A course that Bush started when he signed over billions of our tax dollars to bail out their crony political donors while admitting that TARP was unconstitutional. And don't get me started on the wars. Bush bungled that way before the occupier entered office.

I felt like that, two weeks ago when someone posted the same link on FR.
Until I learned it’s almost 3 years old.

>>>>>Bush has been so bad, maybe the worst president in the history of this country. He has been so incompetent, so bad, so evil Right and tonight on Hannity, Trump said Carter was the worst potus before Obama. Trump will say whatever he thinks will get him some attention. I had strong disagreements with Bush43, but I wouldn't call him evil.
Trump is throwing out everything to see what sticks and how many folks he can hoodwink into backing him. Trump is nothing but an opportunist and a self promoter. A liberal, not a conservative.

Is the date of this interview BEFORE Zero was elected to WH? He was completely unknown quantity then. Trump was simply HOPING he was better.

I remember thinking Bush was the worst president, when he called me a “vigilante” for wanting our border protected.
Times change.
It’s a very old quote.

"I think he has a chance to go down as a great president. Now, if he's not a great president, this country is in serious trouble," said Trump. When you look at that comment...it seems Trump is pretty consistent. He saw that Obama is NOT a great president, and now we ARE in trouble.
