Beck today put down Donald Trump proving
Beck has the intelligence of a retarded monkey.
His comments on Gov. Palin confirm that.

Sarah Palin, I dont think, wants to run for president.
Maybe she doesn’t want to own what’s coming.

You know... he has a lot of nerve. Ruining her brand? coming from this yahoo????
maybe he finds distancing himself from her is a plus for her.

Beck is wrong on this, or Palin is stupid. One or the other. Palin on the sidelines in this fight is to fall into oblivion. The folks who want her to step up will be thinking Fred Thompson. Is he a big time power broker? No. In fact, he has more or less passed from the scene. Palin would as well, but she seems to be playing the same game as Thompson and this has her supporters very concerned.
For now, Fox is putting pressure on her to say in or out. And, with Beck's departure, Palin will find Fox increasingly hostile as they fade away from being a center right news source.

Glenn Beck is long on facts and short on delivery.
Meanwhile, Sarah Palin is long on personality, integrity and message; and short on spite, malice and arrogance.

I have been a big Beck supporter. No Longer. I canceled my insider extreme subscription this morning. His ridicule of Trump on the birther issue and his Mocking and ridicule of Trumps faith this morning was that proverbial straw. Bye Glenn, we used to be friends, but now I must move along

If I remember the context of Palin's comment about Russia, it was just a folksy anecdote that whereas most Americans think of Russia as far off, as being half-way around the world, there are actually places in the Alaskan Aleutians where you can look across the sea and see Russia. She never claimed she could see Russia from her house. So I'm not sure why Beck is suggesting she doesn't know where Russia is.
Where Plain fluffed up on the comment about Russia was that it got twisted into her saying that that constituted foreign policy experience. She left herself vulnerable to that accusation because her comment came in the context of a question about foreign policy experience. She should have said, "No I don't have foreign policy experience, but neither have most governors who ran for president. And neither does Barack Obama."

I listened to this part of the show yesterday. He pretty much reiterated the general talking points that she is not focused enough on policy. I am not convinced on this point, as she has a clear set of beliefs, and stand boldly on those ideas. I have her book, but have not finished it. I have heard some say it is light on policy, and others say it has a good amount. I actually agree that she should have put a serious policy book out as a second book, if she was positioning a run in 2012. It doesn’t seem to be that, and actually less so than the first.
I am open to Palin, and think she probably will run circles around the existing GOP candidates if she does run...I am not convinced she could beat Obama, but I am not sure who would. Events will drive that, and if gas is $5 a gallon and unemployment is not truly improved, I think anyone could beat him.

I think Sarah knows she can do more good as kingmaker than as President.
She might, or might now win either the nomination or the office. Particularly in 2012;But in providing fundraising and publicity she can influence the direction of the party and the country. And she would put both before herself.
and, perhaps, she *doesn't* want to own what's coming 2012-2016; better to let the Democrats take the blame.
Maybe I'm wrong, but her moves look much more like either playing kingmaker to ensure that a true conservative wins the nomination in 2012 or running in 2016.
