Looking at the Bible, we see all sorts of things about taking care of widows, leaving some crops standing for the poor to glean, the tale of the Good Samaritan (help those that aren't like you), the woman at the well, etc.

What you describe is not "justice," it's compassion and charity. Different values!

I don’t think she’s trying to hide the Marxist ideology at all. I have to figure out how to proceed in order to pass and do so without totally lying my way through the class.
