A lot of the FR threads on this subject are infested with comments from people who obviously don't have a clue about the science and engineering that's involved.
But CNN's "science guy" wouldn't be qualified to even comment on our threads...
LOL. I know.
Who will CNN interview next... Elmo?
No, wait, it's Yoree Koh! She didn't see it, but she hears things at the hairdresser's twenty miles away said things were fine, but the American ambassador says he doesn't think there was a meltdown, but the officials she left in the bus with were putting on yellow suits. So, there you have it Wolf.
I'm turning the TV off now.
I think there's beer in the fridge, and I bought some new Nike socks down at Big 5 Sports while my Toyota was being serviced. I'm going to do laundry while the water is still on in Utah, and wait here in the basement for the fallout. Then, I'm going to paint my face with iodine and march to Florida to surrender to the Seminoles.
Get well little jeremiah. I will pray for your health.
Matt 18:20
I just got home from the home and garden show at south towne, opened FB and saw this it made me shudder for a second til I read it was over Reno
http://www.wunderground.com/wximage/catilac/1311
then I realized it was a tornado not a mushroom and besides...
it’s only Reno.
There's that.
Thank you. At my age it’s usually “something” - I have some chronic things which I keep under control with herbs and such.
The earthly tent is just prone to - well, all the stuff it’s prone to!
I always appreciate and am humbled by any prayer on my behalf. Thank you.
I hear that... I’m not getting any younger either. I appreciate you and your posts. One is on my profile page. Take care of yourself.
Thank you!
I need to exercise more, that’s one thing.
Sitting in front of my computer is not exercise.
(And the not getting any younger thing is just the outside...inside I’m as childish as ever!)
By the way, Glock, where did you grow up?
Wait, what?
I have a question (holding arm in air) Didn’t Japan already survive 2 nuclear devices Blowing up?
Yeah, but the same might be said for Spain,...they survived the loss of the Spanish Armada, but never really returned to rule the world.
Looking back, my dad was a Navy pilot. He hated all things Japanese for years afterwards. During his last days, his caretaker was a Japanese national. They got along splendidly. Nice wakeup.
Now I'm praying for her family.
My next door neighbor didn’t join the Navy until late 1944 and his first shore duty was the smoking ruins of Nagasaki or Hiroshima. He has outlived 2 wives and 2 widowed girlfriends and is living with the third...
If I was sitting across the coffee table from you and you told me that, I’d probably return a blank stare. I really don’t know how to, or if I should, or could respond to that.
On the other hand, that’s my reaction to the vast majority of your posts.
Okay, I’ll bite. Is this the neighbor that owns the barn full of exotic vintage cars?
I got so irritated at the lack of information on the any news channel I turned it off too. One interview was with an “expert” in England who could not even say what kind of reactor the Japanese had. More of the pure speculation, “If it’s this, or if it’s that, but on the other hand, it could be something else entirely.”
I’d get a nuclear report from my grandsons, but they are in Houston with pigs this morning. Just damn glad first granddaughter is not in Okinawa anymore.
Yes
:o)
I’m not taking any KI. I was just playing along with the hype.
