To the best of my recollection, that is VERY close to the instructions that Obama gave his supporters during the campaign, and I do NOT take orders from someone who so obviously does not have America’s best interest at heart.
So, while we will not take it back by sitting down, we still need to be mindful that the Left WANTS us to do what they are doing, so that they can finally have proof of what they continually accuse us of.
Honestly, like many of us here, I have been in enough of these situations to know that, difficult as it is, WE have to be the grown ups in the room, and we must be the ones to make it abundantly clear that WE are the ones behaving in a rational, reasonable manner.
Americans who are not necessarily politically active are watching, and are seeing for themselves that what the media tells them is NOT the truth.
Do we need to let the Governor and the Representatives know they are not in this alone? Heck yes. Google Gov. Scott Walker contact and give him a call or drop him an email.
Should we turn out in numbers to show Main Street America that it is NOT as lopsided as the media portrays it to be? That is a tougher one since, again, as we all know, when we showed up in D.C. to the tune of over 1 million people, the MSM simply pretended we were not there, or blatantly lied about the number in attendance : / Plus it puts us in a place where the Left WILL “push, shove,” and get in our faces until someone responds and then THAT is all we will hear about for the next 2 years. And finally, the reality is, that most of us really ARE the “workers”,(has to laugh at the irony), and in this economy, missing work to show up in Madison may not be the most prudent of decisions.
I do understand,(and experience!!), the same impatience and frustration, but I believe that we ARE enacting change, and it is coming pretty fast. Heck, Wisconsin went completely Republican for pity’s sake. I believe/hope/PRAY that the average American has had all of the government that he/she can take, and cannot wait for 2012 to throw every one who didn’t get the message in 2010 OUT.
It is hard. The Media is still all in for the Left, and even online, the message boards and the forums are overrun with folks who do nothing all day but skew polls and post Leftist talking points. But my FRiend, like you I am a fan of Samual Adams, and you might remember this quote ; )

Good prediction and it has now happened in the form of emails and more. The goal is to stop the Assembly from meeting and voting.
