Somehow I got on SEIU's email list. Thought these email from their president was interesting. Perhaps, some of you would like to take Ms. Henry up on her offer of sending an email message of "support" to the Wisconsin strikers....

>>We’ve set up a page on our website that allows you to send a message of support to our SEIU family and everyone else fighting for their rights outside the Capitol.
Share your well-wishes for the working families in Wisconsin and we’ll make sure they receive them this weekend.

“...with large corporations not paying their fair share to get Americans back to work.”
Can someone please diagram this sentence for clarity ?
If “large corporations” paid more (in taxes, blood, union dues—it doesn’t say what more they’re not paying) how many “Americans (would go) back to work ?”

No no no. As Sun Tzu never actually said: “When your enemy is in the process of destroying himself, stay out of his way.”

The Dem senators are only needed for fiscal bills.
Passing "Right to Work" legislation would not require the Dem senators in order to make quorum.
Neither would Vermont-style CCW, "Make my Day", requiring photo-ID to vote, and requiring a long-form birth certificate in order to get on the Presidential ballot.
Republicans there need to stop using the absent Dems as an excuse to do nothing.

I see this as just away for SEIU to get their facebook, email and twitter lists updated.
And the GOP of course is NOT doing this..talk about STUPID!
We should be doing the same thing...we are soooooo still unorganized and behind on the web connections.

Sounds like perfect union and Dem logic to me. If corporations have greater expenses, more people will have jobs right ??

You’re right...
Freepers, change your ip address if possible and use the e-mail of your nearest Dem senator in your state.

Some of us are out of work and would love to have been bussed up there to add to the Tea Party numbers.
