Thanks - didn’t realize that.

That said, I can get two of these and make one of those little Calico Gatlin guns!

Well bringing in 770K M1 Carbines ought to mean they should be available at decent prices.

No kidding!

What do you think. $500 or less for a nice one?

Which manufacturer is the most desirable?

An older gentleman I met about a decade or so ago told me this story:

As a twelve year old he used to hop the westbound CTA bus down North avenue to the end of the line. He carried a loaded shotgun and sat on the bus with other riders. At the end of the line he’d hunt for the day and then head home with his gun and whatever he’d caught.

He was 12 and this was Chicago. I emphasize was. Since then we’ve gotten more government and less maturity out of our kids? Cause and effect?

As a kid, all my family marksmen siblings had .22`s and 30-30`s on the farm. Now New York State has a city slicker law saying we` can`t shoot our own guns on our own farm. But the local cops just ignore this commie law because they were raised on farms too. -Plus we are all armed to the teeth here since 1754.

Everyone carries rifles here in their cars and openly in the bars during hunting season as we bring our deer trophies for winter venison into the local bars for appraisals by the local tender.

\Communist city slickers and bum ATF are trying to disarm us-
